I've watched both the Japan and Taiwan version, and I loved them both!
I really hope that they will indeed have a sequel or a special Fingers crossed

I hate it when then do that. I hope, at least, they'll change the character's name or else it'll be just too distracting. bleh

Is that possible to hav a sequel Fingers crossed ...yeah i remember the final scene from hanadan, there is a message like "see you next time" i guess, i forgot already so i thought maybe there is a possibility....i'm soooo in love with that series from manga to anime and even the taiwan version it's hard to forget Bonk i just don't like the second season of the taiwan ver. , hope that the next hanadan will be as good as before. and hey is it also possible for japan to have their own ver. of F4???? hhhmmmm........why not since originally it's from japan, right??? Crazy

They already have their version of F4, though not the singing group one Mr Green hmmm Nobuta Wo Produce made Kame of Kat-tun and YamaP of NewS to form Shuji to Akira - though the difference was that both of them are already heart-throbs. Anyway it is maybe possible for them to form F4-the singing one... but then again the drama was already few months done... Sweat
If they don't have it, you could always hear & watch Jun (Domyouji) with his group Arashi Victory! Peace!

What's this I hear about a sequel! How did I miss this... I can't wait. I LOVE HYD. I've been a huge fan of the anime/manga for years and then they made the live action which I had to see.

It's actually the first JDrama I've ever seen, I did watch Meteor Garden wayy back when and it was RAW (that was fun, I just tried to guess what they were talking about the whole time...)... But I had been waiting for a Japanese production of HYD for so long, and they did such a good job with it that I've been hooked on JDrama's ever since. I'm constantly on the look out for other really good series.... maybe not as good as HYD since that's hard to top.

Funny thing is my sister (who has always disliked my love of Japanese movies, anime, and manga) actually sat down and watched all of the HYD live action with me, and LOVED it... haha, yes finally! I was waiting for the day when she would see why I love this stuff so much... I was able to then get her to watch Waterboys (the movie... I can't seem to find the series anywhere..) and PingPong. Both which she really enjoyed.

rewatching a bit of HYD and looks like they portrayed Domyouji's sister....whats it....Tsubaki? a little to much on the nice and soft side.
Reading the manga, she seems a lot more fierce?? i can't find the right word, but the drama protrays her a little soft in personality. Sweat
She is a lot more harsh on Domyouji from what i remember reading. OH well.....

Yeah, I noticed that too. She beats the crap out of Domyouji way more and is more outspoken in the anime/manga.

I love HYD! I only didn't like that Matsumoto Jun played Doumyouji. That roll didn't pass to him. But it's only my opinion. OK, I love Matsumoto Jun, but...

If they make a second one, I hope it's going to be good. I've seen too many shows that made it to a second season and almost all of them were disappointing. Pout

There still a lot of stuff happening in the manga, so they might take a little of that for some eps and probably end up making up some stuff of their own to make it interesting. Most likely, the 2nd one will be as good as the 1st Mr Green
Definately need to have the same cast or else it won't be good Shake Head

Great! w00t! I didn't know the story was cut short. The drama wasn't very long, only 9 episodes IIRC. I love this drama and just hope they don't screw up. Fingers crossed

I'm with you about the cast. It won't be the same thing, if they swap someone. Sad
