It's a regular series, and should be available d-addicts. But it has to air in Japan first (April 18).

Drama Special

Popular TBS drama Double Kitchen which starred Yamaguchi Tomoko in the early 1990s will return in a drama special Triple Kitchen this August.

The battle of the in-laws will continue with Esumi Makiko pitted against Nogiwa Yoko. Other cast members include Ito Shiro, Yokohama Megumi, Sano Shiro, Sakura and Aiba Masaki.

Double (Triple) Kitchen with Esumi instead of Tomoko???

Jeez, I'm more than a little in love with Esumi, but that was Tomoko Yamaguchi's show. She was the spark that made it work.

Man, I hate when TV guys screw around like this.

Hi all,
I am new to this site, and have recenlty started watching J-drama's to improve my Japanese. I am a little bored with the more conventional methods...

I am an aussie girl living in Japan, am 21 and have lived here on and off since just after my 19th Birthday. I live with my Japanese boyfriend, and him and i speak Japanese all the time ( except when i am angry at him...i tend to yell in English...which he doesnt' understand much of!)...so luckily i usually pause and ask him if i have any problems...sometimes i watch an episode twice to make sure i don't miss anything!

I am currently watching Orange Days which i saw a couple of episodes of on TV last time i was living in Japan, but never got around to seeing it all.
I am wanting to know when the information for this years summer dramas comes out...i don't want to miss anything, and since i am here, thought i should get a head start on finding out, since i have missed the start of all the spring dramas unfortunately ( although if anyone knows of a good one now airing in Japan let me know!)

Also any really good dramas i should definitely rent out?...i suppose that question will give me a lot of conflicting answers...but i am loving Orange Days so if you like that too, let me know what else you have liked!

However in a couple of months, the new summer 3006 dramas...will probably warrent it's own thread...so perhaps i am just a little early.

I think you pressed the "new topic" button instead of the "post reply" . Hehe yeah, I think you are a little bit early, because those spring dramas are just on its midway right now.
