For example, �d�C�������B(denki wo kesu), meaning, to switch off the lights. �d�C���‚���B(denki wo tsukeru) means to switch on the lights.

^ Well, imported words are. Animals like cat, dog, tiger, horse, cow etc that you can find in Japan or China are rarely in katakana.
