she probably tripped fell on her chin and her front teeth went through her lip... that's what happened to me, if it had gone through another 1/8", it would have went all the way through.. i have a nasty scar on the inside of my lip.

I always wondered about where she got it, too. I think she must have got it since 2003 because I saw earlier photos where she didn�Lt seemed to have it yet. It could be hidden under makeup, of course but I don�Lt think she would have tried to hide it under makeup at that age back then...

yeah but photographers and magazines probably use computer techniques and or airbrush to hide imperfections on models all the time for photo shoots.

I agree with you Tu_tricky, and on certain photos, we can't see her scar, that depends the camera angle and the pose ...
I think Aya has her scar since always, but I dont' know ... Hovewer she 's already got it in 2001 in Kinpachi Sensei ! But it's kawaii and it's Aya, that gives her an air cool

okay i did some research..i called up aya's talent management agency and they said that aya got the scar back in the day when she was part of this japanese motorcycle gang....she took a few punches during this one fight but she got back up and eventually won. j/k/
