Yeah the Giants won the series w00t! Even with Barry not hitting. The Giants have the best starting pitching and the worst bullpen in the west. I think who ever wins the west will be 3 and out in the playoffs. IMO they had to hit Barry, you can't let pitchers drill your best hitter in the head.

Looks like your wish will come true.

Struggling Walker demoted, might be done with team
By Chris Haft
Mercury News
DENVER - The Giants' displeasure with the state of their bullpen prompted them to designate right-hander Tyler Walker for assignment Sunday, potentially severing his ties to the team.

To replace Walker, who filled in ably as the closer last year with 23 saves, the Giants purchased the contract of right-hander Brian Wilson from Triple-A Fresno.

Walker posted an 0-1 record and a 15.19 ERA in six outings. The Giants, whose relievers own a major-league-worst 8.34 ERA, have 10 days to trade Walker, release him or send him to Fresno if he clears waivers.

Thanks for the news dochira. I do feel bad for him, I hope he finds another team.

Hideki Matsui apologizes for getting injured, here's the quote "Due to this injury, I feel very sorry and, at the same time, very disappointed to have let my teammates down," Matsui said in a statement. "I will do my best to fully recover and return to the field to help my team once again."
I'm trying to imagine Barry Bonds doing something like this. Shake Head

ESPN has pulled the plug on their "reality series" following Barry Bonds around. Applaud I guess the "experts" at ESPN didn't understand that most people have better things to do than watch some jackass Beat You

Yeah, who wants to waste their time watching that sh*t. People would rather watch him getting hit by a pitch in a game Evil hehe

Just saw a commercial from Taiwan that is promoting a new 3gp technology in cellphones. And the kids was chanting "We love Barry Bonds!" while watching a baseball game in their cellphones with Barry Bonds hitting a homerun bleh . They could have picked other players for this endorsement Grumble

I read somewhere that the Japanese media don't understand the reaction people have against Bonds.

I think he would behave with the Japanese media. Now if they mixed in one of the SF Chronicle reporters....then the fireworks will happen.

Bonds is popular in Japan among MLB fans. I don't have a problem with him either. He is not my favorite player but I do have respect for what he has done on the field. I think many fans over react by throwing things at him to me it makes them look like jerks not him.
