Kim Hee Tae...yeah, she is hot...my favorite k-idol..her english is not too bad, but it was painful to hear the korean guys talk in engrish with a thick accent.

just finished epi19 of goong. waiting for the other subs.
and i plan to finish my girl tonight. i'm at epi12, so around five more to go. i really like the guy there. he seems so naive. hehe. i don't like it when he cries though. the first time i saw and heard him cry, i thought, geez, what a sissy. haha. _________________

April 2006's KSOTM: April 2006's KSOTM: Save the Last Dance for Me
KOREAN DRAMA
i downloaded episode 1,(700mb) version, and the softsubs that came with it are off in their TIMING. So, advice and suggestion was offered on page one of the subtitles for Save the Last Dance for Me.
so, has anyone worked with the prg, Subtitle Workshop, because i am confused a lot, and i don't know how to apply the timing delay and how this whole thing works.
i don't have that problem much on j-drama soft subs, just on the k-drama soft subs that i d/l'ed for my k-dramas.

I think it kinda sucks that the SOTM doesn't have matching subs for the eps that are being seeded. But oh wellz. I only skipped through them but the only eps I noticed the timing as being off for were eps 4 and 7, I think. They weren't off by much. They just seemed to show up a tad late in the first scene.
I know how to time and stuff, but I'd prefer not to retime them for a series I didn't watch yet. However, if you can find a delay time, you can set the offset in Subtitle Workshop. Meaning, if you know ALL of the subs appear 2.356 seconds too early, you can put the offset for the times to be changed to 2.356 seconds later and thus resync.
The problem for me is, I don't know how much the timing is off and if it applies to the entire episodes or certain scenes. If it's for certain scenes, adding the offset will backfire.
Honestly I don't install Subtitle Workshop anymore. I don't like the program in general and it requires you install some other ware in the packet that comes with it that my Adaware and Spybot hate.
You can set delay times in Medusa (if you have it). Open the script in Medusa. Go to Timing>shift times. You can also do it in Sabbu by going to Event>Shift times.

thanks anyways, i tried that...it delayed it, but it is still off, and it doesn't seem like it matches the dialogue, i've given up on this one..
seems like a lot of the korean soft subs, are off in their timing with their episodes...

Since I haven't watched any of the Korean dramas, judging from what Kou said, it looks like there are a number of different versions of the dramas floating around. You might get lucky and find the ones that match your subs, but....right now, that looks difficult.

yeah, ....i just haven't had the luck with k-dramas, the timing seems to be off on the subs, which makes it harder to watch.
i've given up on the subtiltle workshop on that k-drama, can't figure it out, i'll leave it to the experts. looks like this one is in the bag.

I've been watching a lot of Korean dramas lately because I'm waiting for the new season of J-Dramas to get subbed.
Let's see, I've watched:
A Love to Kill - Really intense, but I like the story. It's very emotional. And Bi/Rain is sooo gorgeous. Hehehe
Save the Last Dance for Me - I love this one. So beautiful and uplifting. It made me cry and it takes a lot for something to make me cry.
Full House - Hilariously entertaining and so heartwarming. Again, Bi brings the eyecandy to this one
Currently Watching:
What Star Did You Come From
My Name is Kim Sam Soon
