It has the same plot as the manga, but i thought the manga was much better. The guy who played as Fuji-senpai was far from what i expected him to look like!
My friend who passed by me when i was watchin this said, "What comedy movie are you watchin? Is it some sort of Shaolin Soccer?"
Urrghhh.... the moves are done a bit too much and i thought only Tezuka's was 'believeable' _________________
The movie cast was kinda bad imo, the Inui look totally different from the Anime/Manga, Tezuka lack the power/charm he have in the anime/manga too. Enough say I wont really recommend anyone to watch this movie.. anyway for those who watch the anime or read the manga, this is almost exactly the same as it, so without any sub you'll be able to understand what they trying to show =)

i thought they did a great job finding a tezuka look-a-like! but to me, the live action went way too fast--and since it seemed to depend so much on the story outline of the anime, they went way too fast...there were huge holes in the live action outline that weren't consistent with the anime. i didn't like it as much as the anime... _________________
it's true one can be overwhelmed, and sometimes even underwhelmed. but can't you just be like, whelmed?!?!?!
i watched half of the movie and then left. it wasn't sooo bad but it wasn't soo great to keep me wanting to know more. hmmm... is the anime really good? i've been thinking about watching it but it's about tennis... and, well, tennis is not so convincing for me.

the anime is way way way way better than the movie. the movie killed the tenipuri fan in me. hehe. it was just freakin useless. i cringe just remembering it. _________________

The movie is entertaining, but it is heavily centered on the stories of Tezuka and Ryoma so I was a little disappointed since I prefer almost every other Seigaku boy to them.
That said, it's definitely worth seeing for any PoT fan (except for Atobe's hair, which is painfully off)

Recently, I've been hooked by the musical of The Prince of Tennis. It started with a simple curiosity then LSS got me wanting for more. I really enjoy watching Tenimyu and the 2nd Generation Seigaku casts are my favorite plus the whole Hyotei casts and KENN, the actor who portrays Yuuta Fuji. The 1st gen Seigaku were better singers no doubt but the 2nd gen were much more alike with the anime characters, specially Kujerai (Kaidoh) and Shirota (Tezuka). I like the Momoshiro and Inui from the 1st gen though.
After the 2nd batch graduated, I wasn't too thrilled to watch the other tenimyu if it weren't for Hyotei casts. But when they graduated, I kinda lost interest as well. But I'll still watch the rest... eventually... I'm curious with the casting of Rikkaidai.
I was a big fan of Seigaku but I ended being a bigger fan of Hyotei, Kato Kazuki was meant to be Atobe Keigo. He surely captured Atobe's essence, unlike the actor who play Atobe in Cinepuri.
I really want MP3 of DL2 & DL3 plus the lyrics to all of the songs but I'm really having a hard time finding them...
