My Little Chef is good in my opinion. The food does look tasty.
Umm....I believe Antique is another food one. I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard a lot of good words about it _________________

if cooking is your deal...i recommend you download "Lunch Queen" ...it's light-hearted and funny....unfortunately it's not entirely finished being subbed but most of the episodes are subbed in English...
i'm also about to watch ohsama no resutoran which has some pretty good reviews - will keep y'all updated on that one
IMO, Ohsama no Resutoran (King's Restaurant) is by far, the best cooking/restaurant themed dorama I have seen. I have watched Queen of Lunch, My Little Chef, and Delicious Liaisons, and none of them come even close to Ohsama no Resutoran, which aired in 1995. I have written about this series in other posts, but let me reiterate: it is a witty, intelligent, well-acted, superb dorama. The script is by Koki Mitani, one of the best scriptwriters of both TV and film working today. It has a great ensemble cast of reliable veteran character actors/actresses and, oh yeah, Tomoko Yamaguchi. If you appreciate quality over superficiality, if you want to be entertained by smart writing and truly professional acting instead of watching shows which are meant to showcase the latest pop idol or have storylines and dialog written with a high school mentality, then Ohsama no Resutoran is for you. To be honest, this series will probably not interest most of the members of this web site, given their demographics and tastes. But if you're looking for something that is more substantial than what is currently popular in dorama, check out this series.

Since we are talking about food-related doramas.....I just wanna add Shota no Sushi to the list of recommendations

Thanks for your opinion about this dorama. I'm currently downloading it, and it's good to know that I'm not wasting my time and hard disk space for this . _________________
sounds interesting, i may have to pick this one up as well.
soon as i clear some room.
for sure, this is definitely the best food-related drama i've seen to date. Delightfully fun and humourous, this drama has a quirky elegance to it that i've not seen in any other jdorama. i thoroughly enjoyed myself watching this first-class series about a first-class resutoran two thumbs up! _________________
