Still I can't believe that grounding for devices with metal parts outside isn't mandatory in Japan, isn't even supported, as it is here.

careful planning for a year? wow, when i went last year, i did it on a month's notice...lol

anyhow, have loads of fun, don't think of anything else, and if you get the chance, log in and post while in Japan.

if it was just me going then yeah a week or two to prepare is fine but there's 5 others so i had to take into consideration their interests as they're expecting me to be tour guide and translator! Sweat
