I enjoyed SOS a lot, but some people weren't too fond of it. However, EVERYONE LOVES Long Vacation ^_^

Why not buy both? I love SOS dearly, it'll always hold a special spot in my heart. It has great subplots, casts and supporting casts. LV is.... well... a must-see classic.

Just buy both if you have money, the SOS flamin debate can be avoided, hehe. My recommendation is Long Vacation over SOS, you prolly know the reason.

Get Long Vacation AND Love Generation (if you haven't seen it). SOS is an ok drama but nothing really special.

Hi newbie here, being lazing @ home for quite sometime so think of getting some japanese dramas. Anyone got any recommendations esp those drama which have Uehara Takako/Takako Tokiwa/Yuki Uchida. And of course if the storyline must be acceptable not some B grade storyline with good looks but lack in depth.
Relentlessly, if there is any recent good dramas do also recommend. I would be highly appreciative.

Thax

Takako Tokiwa

For Tokiwa Takako try these:

- Aishiteru to itte kure
- Beautiful Life
- Wedding Story
- Long Love Letter
- Renai Hensachi/Love Quotient
- Mahiru no Tsuki
- Saigo no Koi

Well...all of them are good in different way. The most memorable and yet strange/good is Long Love Letter. It's really hard to say that it's not good but I must say that it's not everyone's cup of tea, however that one is my personal favorite.

Ai Shitteru To Itte kure is GREAT! by all means if you really like romantic and touching drama just buy it. Beautiful life is sad but also good. Kimura Takuya is the lead actor along side Tokiwa-san if you want a tearjerker then go and see it.

Wedding Story, well..this is a light hearted family drama with comedy theme in which I've found it witty and quite hilarious sometime. She starred alongside hunky Takenouchi Yutaka.

Anyhow, those list of dramas that I've told you are good.

Just don't buy "Hitori Gurashi", absolute total failure...stay away from that drama. I think that is the worst drama that she's ever in it.

Hehehehe...don't mention it. It's good to hear another Tokiwa Takako fan out there. I'm quite a big fan of her that's why I sort of collect her dramas not all though. Mr Green

Chibi Matsu needs help. Chibi Matsu is going to Kotaraya on Monday so she needs advice. Should Chibi Matsu buy:

The innocent witch
Long Love Letter
Loved to Love
Emergency 24 hours

And can I ask if the boxset with the word Kiss in pink is Itsura no Kiss?
Thanx...And also recommend some stuff. Smile
