Kakuii Smile

I wish I had a fast connection so I could get more shows. I think when I upgrade to broadband I will download that show. For now I'm downloading Jungle and it does take a while.

Yup, Guu is pretty funny. Havnet been able to watch the deluxe yet though.
Kotobuki-Ran is also nice but i find it hard to find eps after 13 so had to put it on hold.

If youre looking for funny/cute animes, give Azumanga a try - one of my favs in that genre.

Ah yes, I want to see Azumanga. I recently saw a 3 minute animation where the girls are being taped with a video cam. The animation looks very nice.

COOL! I'll put that in my to-download list when i get home.

BTW. Dont know if I've mentioned this before but NOIR is also a pretty good series with an awesome soundtrack (probably one of the best anime soundtrack i've heard). Story is about some hired asassins trying to discover their past. You can get more info of it on animenfo.com.

noir is pretty good, but has anyone seen last exile? im suprised how fast it got licensed and released in the US by pioneer entertainment.

if you ask me its 2003's master piece of anime Applaud
But last exile is a must watch for those who haven't seen it yet. Characters are wonderful, graphics are half CG animated especially the battles and speed chase and a wonderful indepth plot (the ending couldn't be better). and the soundtrack is stunning and a well done masterpiece. Good

last exile is pretty good too - specially the race scenes. Reminds me of Star Wars phantom meace. Smile The first episode in itself got me hooked right way.

Anyone seen the trailer for the animated feature "The Golden Laws"?
It looks cool, is the soundtrack available for download anywhere.
Looking forward to "Steamboy" also.

I've just read that ADV films have picked up the rights to Azumanga so we can expect some cool r1 DVDs there. They also have aquired "Gun Crazy" which isn't anime but still I want to see that.

Sam, you must check out the trailer for the brand new Applseed movie due out in Japan sometime next year I believe - it's stunning. Using the newly developed "trinity engine" it seamlessly fuses traditional animation with CGI. It really does look incredible. Other animations have tried such as the korean film Wonderful Days but that failed at seamlessly mixing the styles.

I'll check for the trailer right away...whats this "trinity engine" ? I mean, what are the pros and cons of such tech.?
