To clarify it is the June edition's Voice Actress spotlight. According to the article she is Mirara and the movie is called Sgt. Frog, is that the same as Keroro I do not know.
The one think that I thought was interesting is that she is playing an alien character, which apparently suits her Okinawa accent (according to the article). It goes to show how much Okinawian and Japanese are treated as seperate cultures isn't it.

I finally went through the thread. All 12 of the Sh15uya series has already been subbed, I did download it all, but I haven't watched them yet to see how good the quality is. Anyway go to Animesuki and do a search there.

thx for the info....
i think had 2 eps, but the quality wasn't great and no subs, i had to delete them to free up HD space....maybe another time, if they have it available as a BT batch.
also, saw Yui on "PHAT" magazine this month at Kinokuniya store today.

Keroro Gunso = Sgt. Frog
That's the same.
yes, Gacky is from Okinawa, but I dunno if there's great difference between Okinawa and mainland Japan. I only know there're some nice J-pop singers/groups from Okinawa, like Amuro Namie and Orange Range.

From what I have read people from Okinawa feel that they are different from mainland Japanese. I am glad that the Sh15uya information is useful.

I do remember reading somewhere that magazines are really a large advertising media. When you read New Type USA, they are always promoting the products. I have never read in there were an anime or product was not good or even so so. So someone hypothesized that posting articles on the web only helps further promote the product. That said I would not do it, just because of the sole fact that it printed in the USA. I have this article as well, and I did considered it but I did not want to do it myself.
