I'm fairly certain it works the same as here in LA county.. just take the day off and go in (now that my company pays for service, i can't get a summons) and IF you get called in to get questioned by the lawyers, just respond in a way that'll get you off, youll usually be told what kind of case it is... just dont lie.

for example... last time it was a domestic violence case, the defense attorney asked if my parents argued, i said.. yes, both my parents are stubborn and they fight all the time. Sometimes they'll slam doors and my mom likes to throw the book she's reading if she's really mad. Which really happened only once, but I didn't mention that.

Boom, 2 minutes later I was on my way home.
