I went on Saturday. It was fun as hell!!! Although I had the HARDEST TIME finding it. I got lost and I thought I was in the wrong neighborhood when things started to look a tad scary... from my house to the festival I wasted LITERALLY HALF A TANK OF GASOLINE, and I live in BH!!!!!!! I got all confused when they decide to close some street because of a stupid protest. but i found it eventuallly!! _________________ If I don't see it, it's not illegal.

sounds like you guys had lots of fun going... feeling so embarrassed because i'm a japanese american in la that has never been to the nisei week parade or carnival haha. i might go for some exhibit or something that my family wants to go to this weekend...but not so sure. _________________ avatar credit: lj _takethecannoli

Agh, you shoulda mentioned it sooner: us J-D people coulda met up somewhere...

Hmm, maybe we gotta organize something for J-D members to meet up during Nisei Week... I think it would be great.
