Yeah, Im a freshmen in high school Mr Green That would be the 10th year of studying (6 years of elementary, 3 years of junior high and then high school). Im not sure how it goes in the US though Beaten But anyway, thanks for thinking Im older than I really am hehe

CenturyLover It goes, (optional) 1 year of Pre-school, 1 year of Kindergarden, 6 years of elementary, 2 years of junior high, 4 years of highschool. A total of 12 years before you get to college. Sometimes elementary schools only go up to 5th grade therefore instead of going to junior high, people go to middle school which is 3 years. I also thought you were older. Doh! I guess you're around my age? I'm entering my 3rd year of highschool (11th year).

hai hai. here you go minna san!

Oh I see. we have pre-school too but its not counted to studying years. So the grades start from elementary (year 1), continue to junior high (year 9) and after that in high school we are 1st year students again Mr Green
