Neither have I.
And after seeing the first episode of this drama, I'm still not.
BTW, welcome to the forums.

Just a question... is there a special episode after the last 11th episodes?
I came across this special DVD... is that the extended episode, or just the "behind-the-screen" stuff?
I have never really impressed by any J-Drama, but Sekai no Chuusin de... is an exception!! I have never been a fan for tear-jerking drama... like what K-drama... But i really must admit... this is DAMN GOOD!!!! ^-^
BTW can anybody recommend any drama that resemble Sekai or even BETTER? I heard 1 litre of tears and Taiyou No Uta kinda like resemble it? |
I would recommend A Son of the Good Earth

It's not a true love story between a guy and a girl but it goes quite deep IMO as far as a heart warming story goes.

Just finished it!
I didn't find it at all sad for the first 8 or so episodes. By the time it hit the 10th, I was balling my eyes out.
It wasn't so much that Aki was dying, but just the way humans deal with the death. I found it very touching... and yet really sad that Saku chose to suffer for 17 years because he was afraid. Afraid of forgetting.
And the acting, of course, was impressive. _________________

Thanks for the recommendation, but is it available anywhere? I am not sure they have it at d-addicts. I will have no chance of buying it in my country because my country is corrupted by K-Drama LOL

I only sheded a couple tears around eps 4-7????
After that not one more tear. Didn't cry the last ep either....but It was a good ending.
It was wonderful I give it that, but just how it went from present to past in each ep didn't make me to happy.
Great acting though like you said _________________
