Innocent until proven guilty!?! You guys still have that? We changed it to innocent until your check bounce. hehe I guess we're still better than other countries with the Hang 'em High and ask questions later policy. Sweat

Saw his declarations on CNN this morning. I hope they have the right guy, but it could be just a weirdo looking for his 15 minutes of fame.

Latest theory, instead of spending 10 years in a Thai prison for sex crimes there. He confesses to this crime, and the colorado DA must bring him back to the US. Having no extradition treaty with Thailand (i think), he escapes the charges after he admits that he's not the killer and he made it all up.

Interesting... You may have put your finger on it.

IIRC, he was a school teacher over there. Probably got caught doing bad things and made up a few stories.

Hold on ... he hasn't been found guilty yet.

And it's actually pretty common for people to confess to crimes the didn't commit.

I think the thing to do is wait and see. Now that he's in custody, they'll probably figure out if he really did it.

Good point. I guess I should say assuming he did it.

After a DNA test, they'll know if they have the right guy or not.

Yeah.... It's just that people are usually not dumb enough to confess crimes they didn't commit.

Apparently they are. I wonder what he said to himself to convince himself that this was a good idea.

Dunno... Spending a day in a cell in Thailand could be enough. It's not really like here with pool table, cable tv and playstation. Maybe he's just an idiot or he really did it. Confused

Hey, if someone would deport me to Japan if I'd declared I commited a crime overthere, I'd consider it. Sweat Bonk

In that case, he's quite brilliant... tho I hope he really did do it. At least then this whole mystery will be solved. Not to mention I can retain faith in mankind once again.

People can be so obsessed with a crime (as apparently he was) that he would love to be a part of it (rather than be apart from it). Even if he didn't do this, his name would be associated with the case forever.

Mr Green

like Triumph the Insult Comic Dog reported outside the lastest Michael Jackson trial:

"I'm here outside of the courthouse.....we're waiting the verdict.....we don't know what will happen whether he's guilty or not...but there's one thing we do know...he's guilty!" Beaten

I don't normally say kids are cute, but yeah, they are. I like the height difference though hehe what's their respective ages? I like the fact that the Aiko is taller if they're the same age.

Hey BMWRacer, I bought "The Shield" Season One DVD, and I've never seen the pilot episode. Tamilyn Tomita is in the pilot. She looks hot in slacks. They should have kept her on the series. Too bad I can't find a pic of the pilot.
