I haven't watched many TK movies except for: House of flying daggers, Returner and some other old one.
Personally, i didn't like Returner. It was too weird, and I fell asleep through that movie also.

Well, I've known femme asian acquaintences, coworkers, and friends, not to mention inumberable lovelies in the asian club scene over the years, that blow Zhang Ziyi out of the water in the looks department. Thus, I'm not easily impressed.

I can see it now...

Gent takes Amrayu Jolie to a lovely dinner, wines and dines her, then out to a movie... and she falls asleep! Sleep

On a HOFD note, no one was truly dead, as they say in The Princess Bride. They were only mostly dead. With as meandering of a plot as HOFD had, I wouldn't be surprised to see a sequel in which all of the characters were still alive.

I like to take naps too, but work full time during the week. I enjoy sleeping so much that I bought one of those Tempurpedic pillows at Brookstone and also a memory foam (2 inch) mattress pad from Costco. Sleep

Was reading a review, apparently Lost and Found is one of Takeshi's better movies.

I just had a Takeshi Kaneshiro marathon and I fell in love with him all over again. First time I saw him was in Turn Left Turn Right and then that was it for a while. Made up for it by watching the following one after the other: 1. Kamisama Mo Sukoshi Dake 2. Anna Magdalena - HK movie with Kelly Chen and Aaron Kwok 3. Golden Bowl

had a hard time digging this thread out from the many old ones but anyone watching Perhaps Love starring Takeshi Kaneshiro, Zhou Xun, Jacky Cheung? watching it this thursday (a first in a long time for me, since it's been quite some time I go to the movies for a chinese movie)....anyway my local newspaper had an interview with Takeshi... and it was interesting considering how they were going on and on about his bad attitude during the interview....if anyone is interested, I'll type it out and post it here..... anyway here's the poster of Perhaps Love :
