Does anyone know if the anime featured in Densha Otoko is a real show or not? At first i thought it was made up but then i was figurnes of Mina in one of the scenes of Sapuri so now i'm really confused

no it's not real.....Gonzo Digimations was commissioned to do the opening credits and that's it.

japanese dorams are notorious for placing gags/easter eggs in other doramas just for laughs....teru teru ashit as similar inside jokes.

UC Irvine has a course on anime and manga...go figure that a school with the most Asians of any college or university with the exception of the University of Hawaii would have such a class ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UCI Lines up Guest Speakers for Anime Class (2006-09-01 10:06:09) Eric Calderon of Gonzo and Maki Terashima-Furuta of Production IG are among the speakers who will contribute to "Manga & Anime Explosion: What, Why, How & Wow!", a new University of California--Irvine Extension course. The class will be held Tuesdays from 7-10pm on September 26-October 24
