I was wondering is there any some sort of jap drama club in Singapore where people could exchange their collection of jap drama vcds. So people could get to watch old jap drama that they miss out or cant find.

Hi all,

I'm new to Jdorama, just recently only started getting into japanese dramas and movies.

I've only watched a few japanese movies and dramas:

Dramas:

Kurosagi
Engine
Attention Please
Attack No. 1
My Boss My Hero
Dragon Zakura
Nobuta Wo Produce

Movies:

Azumi 1 & 2
Swing Girls
Summer Time Machine Blues

I currently own the following:

Swing Girls First & Last Concert DVD
Swing Girls OST CD
Swing Girls Live OST CD (Basically it's First & Last Concert's OST)

Hope to buy more and start a collection when I have the money heh.

Anyways, do contact me!

*falls in*

gosh i never noticed this thread!! Hello to all singaporean jdrama/jpop fans. I'm Jess, 16 this year:) My favourite drama is nobuta wo produce/one litre of tears and i love NEWS, especially ryo-chan! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

Anyway i think it is really sad that korean dramas, korean pop is taking singapore by storm. There used to be quite a number of jdramas shown on mediacorp at a point in time but lately there has been z-e-r-o. Blah, i really hope jdoramas re-enter our singapore channels. Well i suppose most will get sick of kdramas and the cliche and over-melancolic plots soon ^^

recently, one litre of tears was shown on cable tv ne? I really hope such dramas enter mainstream tv again so that people can catch the j-wave all over again!

hooray for jdramas!

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to the forums, even though not new to Jpop or Jdramas. Been a fan for 6 years already. Ok, I'm pretty old. ^^ Yoroshiku ne.

monta @ I like mukodono as well. It is really good and I really like Nagase's actings.

ooOh this the first time i noticed this thread toO!

haha.. yup yup, today i was passing by TS at plaza sing.. they're having 20% discount on Kdramas n there's this group of pple practically surrounding the whole table! when the rest of the shop is quite empty.. Crazy Crazy

scary scene.. they look like they were snatching up the stuff.. haha.. i guess it wld take sometime for pple to start noticing jdramas, esp when the local tv channels dun even show them at all.. i tink nobuta wo produce will jus bring the storm back.. haha Dancing

So happy, to find my fellow countryman here..hahah
Currently, I am watching Sai No Haha. The show is quite touching but it sort of remind me of another show.

I forgot to add..I seldom buy japanese drama from shops. Usually, I would bide from yahoo auction. What abt the others?

I'm still new so I haven't seen much dramas or movies. Currently just looking around for any interesting series. Any suggestions?

I'll usually download them and try them out. If I really like the movie or series, I would purchase them. Try www.yesasia.com.

hihi.. im 16 yrs old neh.. pls duo duo guan zhao me.. hahaa!!! my idol is karasawa toshiaki.. i noe his abit too senior for me.. but i jus like him.. becoz of zaizen goro.. hahaa! :X

i oso watching sai no haha.. a nice drama!!! the scriptwriter oso wrote script.. great neh!!!

i started to like jdrama from last yr as i watch thru channel u, its really a great drama and always rank the highest in my mind.. Its meaningful and really very exciting esp the operation scenes, so real!!!
it teaches me tat doctors are not tat glory as we think, dey oso have their lonelyt or darker side bah.. and it makes me wanna be a doctor.

recently finish 1 litre of tears, although its a tear jerky drama.. but really very meaningful.. it teaches me to cherish the things around me for now..
