I was wondering if there were any good Japanese metal bands out there?

Thanks for any help.

Depends on what kind of metal you like. You might check out Necrophilia, X Japan, MUCC. I can name other bands if you give me western references.

No, import costs too much for me ... but I'll go to their Munich concert in september Big Grin

Rock anyone?

Inugami CIRCUS-dan - manatsu no yume (it's pretty catchy)
MUCC - Ware, arubeki basho | Zetsubou | Saishu ressha | ... In love
The Candy Spooky Theater - Murder Factory in the Closet (catchy)
Miyavi - Senor Senora Senorita | Coin Lockers Baby | itoshii hito | ...

... I have to stop now because I have to watch MUCC PVs and drool.

Does anyone know of any good file-share sites where I could download Japanese music (J-Pop, enka, etc.).

I'm currently looking for song downloads for Mr. Children and Remioromen. I tried Shareaza and Kazaa, but didn't have much luck.

Would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, etc.

Thanks! Victory! Peace!

ganmo-chan, try http://www.getasianmusic.com/forum/index.php

The forums there have a lot of links to JPOP downloads. (or there's a list of music at http://www.getasianmusic.com/~downloads/Japanese/ )
You could also try http://jpmp3.com

I recommend Bennie K too. The album Japana-Rhythm is quite good. It kind of reminds me of Heartdales.
