Yeah, Aya probably won't be touring much more. Which is too bad.
But interestingly, Morning Musume is going to be in Kobe this weekend. Not going to make it this time of course. But it's nice to know MM does play in Osaka and Kobe. Probably not a good idea to get drunk prior to the show. But after the show we can all get tanked at a local underground bar/club. |
kobe and Osaka....damn, wish i can grab some MM tickets and hop on a plane and meet some of you there, would love to see these MM girls in concert, "They have such great voices and are so damn Kawaii"

Sounds like you are ready. Let's keep talking. If we're still serious about a vacation planned around MM, that's doable. Only problem is that it would have to be in Kobe or Osaka for me. And I'd probably have to buy Mika-chan's ticket so she can party with us (and help us out). The good news is, we can enlist the help of Mika to get us tickets. Sister-in-law might be envious that she can't go. But if we ask for her help, her husband would definitely get mad. But I'll ask her anyway to keep a look out for dates in the Spring or Summer of next year. We'll know before she does. Hopefully know before the tix go on sale and have an inside track like a fan club.
That would be so incredible to actually go. See the show and get a some souvenirs.

Are the H!P stores only in Tokyo? Hope not!
Saw the schedule at Hello!Online today. Playing at Kobe International Hall this Sunday. That's probably less than 30 minutes from Tarumi station.

Yeah, wife is from Kobe. We go back at least once a year. Usually twice a year. But it's been since 11/04 since the last time (another baby prevented us from going). I've never been to Tokyo proper and only have one friend there. But know lots of cool people in Kobe and Osaka.
BTW, my wife worked for Ernst & Young doing ex-pat tax returns for Japanese citizens working mostly at TI. She quit though and just takes care of the two little girls now.
Luckily, she digs Aya and MM. She said last night, "The only problem with MM is the fans are all oji-san... like you."

Kyoto daytime bus trip is a snap. It's a lot more fun than driving. See the shika and the Big Buddha and then head out to the H!P store.
Catch up with the planned tour at Kiyomizudera Otera and head home.

There are some areas in Japan that i would love to visit and be in...
obviously Tokyo, Kyoto, and maybe Hakone...but also Saitama, Nara, and other areas i haven't visited, maybe Nagoya, Niigata, and Osaka too.

I do remember the bamboo grove! The absolute coolest place, barring Akita for different reasons, is Atami. That's just a little south of Hakone. A friend from the Bay Area recently bought a house in Hakone and will probably move within 12 months. His wife is also Japanese and he says that it's cheaper in Hakone than in Hayward to buy a house. He'll stay home as a house-husband while his wife works 45 minutes north doing some sort of graphics design.
Was thinking that a JPop export website would be cool to run from Japan. Got to put it together first. Then hopefully we'll move too. No matter what though, eventually we'll have to move to Kobe.
