Hey guys, newbie here. I decided to register because I think this might be the most active Erika Sawajiri thread I've come acrossed. I'm a fan of hers, but unlike most people here, I first heard about her as a gravure model. Recently, I just finished 1 Litre of Tears and yeah, the rest is history which led me to register on this site. Anyway, its nice to finally be able to join you guys (I'm a longtime lurker here). I'm looking forward to it.
Btw, I found this on the d-addicts forum (credits to motao), I don't know if someone already posted this here:
It's a blooper from Taiyou No Uta, Erika forgot her lines but I don't know the exact translation though, someone translate this for us? Very cute laugh.
Edit: I just saw hydetetsu's post that included this vid, blah, no one can beat him in contributing, LOL. Sorry if I can't find something new about Erika, it seems like you guys already contributed everything about her.

I managed to get YUI's limited edition CD though, but no difference between this and the regular edition. Just one additional DVD
Hmm the same with erika just one more DVD but plus a few more track
ha ha what i really wants is ai otsuka Renai Shashin limited ver which comes with a poster if you bought from store in japan . .but i guess cdjapan will not provide the poster if i get from them
For Singaporeans, the Japanese Film Festival 2006 starts today at the National Museum of Singapore and ends on 29 October. And they'll be screening Pacchigi too on 28th Oct too!

yeah....that's how others discover her as well...
i first saw her on 1 litre of tears j-drama a year or so ago.....then found out she also was a gravure model...and now she is popular like this thread...welcome.

Lol have to say the same, seen 1 liter of tears, wasn't that famous, bunch of talk about her becoming an porn/adult star etc. and then BAM, FAMOUS AS HELL. Aren't you glad you glad we were fans of her before all the hype? heheh.

I was fond of her pics as a model before, then came across her first starring role on 1LoT, and watched it because of the hype. welcome to the thread....the Erika Sawijir thread.
she started out in gravure, as most young girls do, then move on to either singing or acting careers.....it seems like a common way to move in one's career, through gravure modeling.

I never heard of, or seen her in any AV, all she did was modeling and those picture book things. But I could be wrong, for all you know she did some AV and now has gotten them removed so it wont stain her new image _________________
