And yeah, I know that Takayuki already has a son, but is that really the reason for their split (Takayuki/Erika)? Also, thanks for the pic of the son's mother... I don't know her much. But she ain't really that pretty to me.. Erika is prettier by lightyears.

I got a question, it looks like death note was (or is?) popular in Japan.
(Ya mentioned anime, manga, and now movie etc.) Is this like one of those geeky, otaku type thing? or is it something like cool everyone finds amazing in Japan (just saying cause I don't watch animes, and don't really like them much, they take to much time, there to many, and they targeted at a more geeky crowd if you get what I mean).
However, that poster for death note looks pretty darn cool
Edit: I actually went to you tube and watched a few episodes of death note (1-3 as they are pretty short, even though I should have been studying hehe)
and I have to admit is pretty darn creative. The storyline while majorly fake, is very refreshing, Light and L are like total genius (reflections of each other/mirror images) Light is a super creative character tha comes up with some amazing ideas.
Is this anime a straight copy from the manga, or is it modified (loose some of it's content? or got better?)
I have to admit the movie is now sounding like is going to be good, if it's similar to the anime. _________________

�@People has different taste and idea. So I don't want to say it is geeky or otaku type thing.
To be frank with you, I don't like drama and variety ( and Anime before I saw Evangerion)
Erika and Nakama Yukie brought me to the drama world !
Indeed, Erika's "1 rittoru" and "Taiyo" are the only drama that I saw all episodes in my life.
Without Erika in, probably I never saw even those. Still now I see a few of dramas.
Neither the TFP... That Erika issue was my second time in my whole life. The food show also 3rd time for me.
So I might have the taste quite different from you guys.
Have you ever visit my website ? If you have and felt it geeky or not your type,
then you better not listen to my advice..
Objectively, 12 million of that original books sold and
considering the fact that all advance tickets of DEATH NOTE 2 have sold all already,
DEATH NOTE can be said that is very popular now in Japan.
I saw the movie only, don't know about Manga and Anime.
They say different from Manga ver. And some said original is better.
I guess movie is arranged for more general public viewers.

The Movie Trailer looks OK.
However if you like drama generally, you might NOT think this movie good.
Because the viewer's satisfaction gives 53 pnts of average.
And most of them complain of the story and directing.
This girl gives only 30 pnts !
If you could care less about it as like me and enjoy watching Erika, then it will be OK.
However, I think I will pass this because of less Erika appearance.
