Heyy~!! So. I'm finally back on to the forums. No one probably knows me cause my last post was like 30+ pages back.^^; Stupid school exams and projects, taking up my JE time. xD But anyways...

I know I've been missing out on a lot, and I didn't bother reading the "many" pages I have missed. Could someone summarize what's going on in Je right? o.O I know the news on Jin laying back for a while in KAT-TUN, Tegoshi and Massu being in a new group together called Miso Soup (no offense, kind of weird), and a new group is going to debut. Oh yeah, and NEWS is coming back in like 2 months! O(^_^)O Anything else? Sorry, I've just been missing out on a lot. -_-"
This lead me to a question I wanna ask everyone here: Is there anyone who likes Yamapi b/c of DragonZakura? I actually become his fans b/c of DragonZakura....I wasn't actually that interested in NwP back then.....(Am I weird? While everyone keep praising NwP, I found the story didn't make sense in so many parts.......^^ll)
I love Dragon Zakura. One of my favorites actually but not really because of Pi, it was a bonus he was there The drama was inspiring.

I think I'm with the vast majority xD I got into NewS after watching Pi in NwP. And speaking of Pi's Kurosagi role, I think b/c of the huge success of his role as Akira, you could still see lots of elements of Akira in his Kurosagi role. I don't think it was easy for him to break that character just yet. But I got to give him credit for improving with each episode ^^

Hehhee Its so funny how I hear how popeple got in because of yamapi. I'm in the inority when I say that I really used to hate Yamapi. I liked K8 and once I got into NEWS because of ryo and uchi, I would always say who's that ugly dude who always gets camera time??? Then I found out he was the yamapi everyone talks about. I looked through his old clips and began to like him through Toma, Takki, and 4tops.
Hehehe Nakai can't sing but it still annoys me to death when I look at all the other people who have potential and still haven't debuted yet..I used to hate Tego for the same reason others hated him..I thought he didn't deserve to debut when he's only been in JE for 9 months and people like Toma and ABC who dederve to debut(and are probably never going to debut... ) deserve it more..but now I don't feel like that anymore..NEWS is one of those groups that are too good to resist(like Kanjani8!)..you can't help but love them all. _________________

He? i thought the minority was the people who started being interested becoz of Kurosagi. Well i was. How i got interested... It was like, "who is this horrible actor doing such role?"
But after i know NEWS and saw other doramas with him in it, yeah he's not bad at all

guys, couple of things:
a) after listening .. reading stuff from all, i guess, what we can say is that, NEWS does kind of 'owe' yamapi a lot since he drew a lot of people's attention to NEWS
before this some of the NEWS members were so new, no one really knew who they were, in a super-stardom kind of way.
so, yes, i guess, we owe YAMAPI a big thanks for his outstanding contribution.
b) after listening some more, i gather that YAMAPI was just doing his job of being a superstar, and he has basically not done anything to 'steal' the limelight. he just naturally gets more attention because of his talent, his ability to draw people. some people have that talent, right, and some people don't. kind of his very own 'gift from God', i suppose.
c) after thinking about it, i suppose what's MOST IMPORTANT is that after all of these arguments going every which way, i can summarise that what's important is that the 8 of them get along well, although they don't always agree on everything (well....who on earth agrees on every single thing unless you are twins or in NEWS' case - octuplets (8 babies born at once by the same mother) ).
they are working hard at being a team, although they are different in ages and each have his own range of fans also. yet they are still together and coming back as a team.
SO, I GUESS THE SAME SHOULD APPLY TO US FANS as well. Yeah, we all have different singers that we love : some love Shige, some can't stand him. Some love Tego, some think Massu is the greatest human being ever.
My suggestion : for me, i'm gonna try my level best not to talk about SHIGE so much, and i'm gonna try to appreciate all the others as well - although it's not gonna be easy. besides, if NEWS members are trying their best to be a team, then their fans should be also.

BUT DUDE YOU GUYS. NEWS IS OFFICIALLY COMING BACK IN JANUARY. As far as I'm concerned, Helen is one of the most reliable sources of JE news online, and she said that the Yokohama Arena is reserved from January 3rd through 7th for NEWS' return. Will all 8 members. So happy~!!!
And because it took me like 2 hours or longer to scan these 29 pictures, I figured I'd share them here too, even though I've already shared them at d-addicts and LJ. Okay, here's the rules for my pics. Well, it's only one rule, really. Please, for as long as you remember that you got these pics for me, credit me, OK? wow this seems to be true then if it's up for ordering online.. if it isn't, it's a large-scale joke and it isn't funny at all !
and the description at westinpromotion sounds a little too exaggerated. and it seemed like there are some errors, such as they reported NEWS to have released 7 albums (it should have been singles, they only had 1 album!)
I think a tego-massu collaboration would be great especially since their voices are two of the best in JE IMO. However, i would much rather they come back together with all other 6 of NEWS in japan next year. If this rumour is true, will it make the other rumour (the one that the stadium was booked for NEWS from 3/1-7/1 next year) less true? Honestly, i would much rather believe in the NEWS rumour than this
anyway according to the report on westinpromotion, tegomass will be in sweden between 14/11 and 17/11 for interviews, CD signings, a release party and TV shootings. Today is already the 24th of october, so let's just wait for the official news from JE, if tegomass is true, the official news should be out very very soon.

Yea, I agree that the ending of Kurosagi isn't so great.....especially the scene Kurosaki was being caught....having hundreds of thousands of police to catch 1 person, and it's just a swindler not even a murder or dangerous person.....that's a bit exaggrerate....And whenever I see that eye-glassed-police, I feel like breaking my TV....but for Yamapi, I held back myself.....LOL
Some part of the drama is boring, but there are parts pretty good and touching.....so I would still say it's the best drama in the Spring season, not the best of all, but at least the best in the season..... I don't like Attention Please very much either.....same reason, the female lead......I have no problem w/ Aya, but it's her character that I don't like........and Ryo-chan didn't appear much in the drama.......I like Ryo-chan in 1 Litre of Tears the most!!! Asou-kun is soooooooooooooooooooooo CHARMING!!!

finally i met someone who started liking yamap due to DZ
I started liking Yamapi after i watched DZ
It wasnt my first drama of him though
his drama that i first watched was Lunch Queen
but i didnt pay attention to him coz he was way too skinny
i was amazed when knowing that he was that skinny son in Lunch Queen
and at that stage i hadnt watched NwP
Yamap brought me into NEWS
that's why i cant dislike him
I like yamap and other members
I love NEWS
im pretty sad n heartbroken knowing few ppl dislike him bcoz of the exposure he had...

I, too, am a big Yamapi fans who like NewS b/c of Yamapi. But as I watch them more, I like them as a group, too. I like how they work peacefully and joyfully together, and especially love to see them fooling around.
i guess i was jealous at the start when i just got into NEWS since in ALL the pvs i see, yamapi will be in the centre without fail. It didn't help when i viewed the NEWS shounen club performances and noticed how the camera closed up on yamapi but quickly swept past the other members.
but yepp. i understand that this isn't yamapi's fault of course, being charismatic and loved isn't something that one can control ^^ And i do acknowledge the fact that Yamapi has brought lots of popularity to NEWS and i'm glad that from there, fans have spread on to the other NEWS members as well.
i love your comparison of the NEWS members to the machine parts btw All of them play a vital role in NEWS thus i really hope that all of them will be back next year.
a little off topic but since it involves uchi i shall say this. read in another forum that the limited singles kanjani8 is producing soon which has different covers for each of the k8 members do not involve uchi's Arghh i was so hoping that this new single will be uchi's reentrance to JE but it seems that he isn't coming back yet.

one of my favourite pieces in the touch album and definitely yamapi's best composition so far IMO. but then again, you may not like it since your taste for music is well er.. unique
