well, dear : considering the fact that i am a working woman now, (GASP!!!) - it's kind of hard to find someone who is into boybands right now. i wasn't really into it either. A lot of people are into the Korean craze, including the k-dramas and heroes like Kwong Sang Woo, and a whole million others.

Japanese dramas ....i think they've been around for ages : i remember the first being OSHIN in Malaysia. but they don't seem to have the crazy following that Korean dramas have in Malaysia.

Korean dramas have a lot of people crying. Puppy Dog Eyes

Hahahaha... i know... that's what's happenin in my place too...

in the early 2000s, indonesian TV stations bought dorama lisences like Anchor Woman, SOS, My Maddona (and all other craps that have Tackey in it), Fighting Girl, Good Luck, and legendary ones like Beach Boys and the Tokyo thingi i forgot the title...

But now... everyones going nuts becoz of cliche k-dramas (talk about k-drama endings... uurrgghhh... can't they think of a better way to wrap it) like Full House, My Sassy Girl, Princess Hour etc.
They only k-dorama that i liked was Jewel in the Palace (Djang Geum)...
And i also know how people talk about how sad the k-dorama, Windstruck, was... though i personally thought 1 litre of tears was much much sadder...

Start with 1 litre of tears, it's a pretty good starter, or MBHB, Tiger&Dragon is brilliant...
Maybe AP, but not "Ganbatte Ikima-Shoii... shoi... shoi...."

Hhhmmm... maybe 0 for people who are in to them, since most of em are boys... They probably have past-away PVs in their HD but they probably just see it once...
I know some of my byotch like them since they started off with 1 litre of tears and Ns'Aoi, they say the dance is cool etc, but they're not really in to it since they aren't really japanese entertainment lovers, they just see doramas once in a while...
When I gave them news pv for the first time they were like, "they're all kakoi, so confused choosing which to pay attention to"
and I was like -_-"

wahh you guys are great! being able to appreciate NEWS Smile Most guys i know see it and go, "wtf so gay" and i will be like U Suck Beat You

yeah the only one i liked was jewel in the palace too *though it was kinda draggy*. Korean dramas are over melodramatic and cliche IMO.

ganbatte ikimashoi is nice just for watching tanned ryo-chan ^^ and have you all seen this?

k-dorama.......honestly, i never understand why ppl are so crazy over it.......those so-called very sad tragedy k-dorama are indeed very old-fashioned that you can find tons of similar dorama in Hong Kong back in the 80s & 90s...........I think k-dorama comedy are better than tragedy. k-dorama tragedy is all only about crying.........almost everyone cry in every episode.......@_@ But for the comedy, k-dorama sometimes do have some creative plots......btw, My Boss My Hero was originially adapted from same-name k-dorama, too.

Hi people!

i just wanna share what im been through to day.....
I SAW TEGOMASS

first, i got the train at 8 am, got to stockholm by 9.15 am..... then i went to "spybar" where they were suppose to play.... and then me, jojjo, anton and linus say there... waiting, hours, until the clock got 2.15 pm or something... then some lifguards came out... and put us in a queue, and a fence so we wouldnt freak out...

and then.... a black car arrived... and out.................massu and tegoshi came... I SAW THEM OMFG.... they smiled at us all and went into the building!!!!!!! i cried cho much and had hard to breeth... i mean.. it was massu!! and tegoshi... first time in my life... I SAW THEM IN REAL!!!!!!!!! cho freakin unbelieveble....

and then we stand there for another hour... untill the time was 3.30 PM... then they let us in... we took 2 stairs up.... and in a big hall... we could get to buy their singles... and we did, i bought 3!! (but im giving 2 away, to miru and sara)

and then, we got into another hall, alittle small but it was good (although the stage was so small!!), first we got to see a program about news, lasted for like 15 mins or something, from their last concert... and massu and tegoshi solo in it... then staff came up on stage, and told us to be quiet while they sing, so we can hear them properly...., then he left

and after some mins.... staff made a path through the audience....and they tegomass came again.... they walked the road up on stage..... and stood there, looking at us... and everybody were screaming....it was so.... i dunno... i cried at least 5 litre of tears......

they started to say IN SWEDISH " we are tegomass" "my name is yuuya tegoshi" "my name is takahisa masuda"

and then they started to sing..... omg... they were so fantastic.... they were much better in real... and so beautiful... really... cho cho chooo beautiful....
I LOVE MISO SOUP!!!! such a great song... now when i heard the whole version...

when they were done... they speaked in both japanese swedish and english like "you are so pretty" "you all are so beautiful"
and in swedish: "thank you so much" "thanks thanks" "we love you"
and it japanese the normal formal stuff like "yoroshiku onegai shimasu"
and then they asked in english: "picture?"

and the staff took pictured of them with us, the audience....'
and "one more" and took lots of more pics after that....
then they walked out

we were standing there in the room... waiting for get allowed to walk out of there... and when we came into another room... a queue was built... SINCE WE WERE GET TO SHAKE THEIR HANDS....
me and my friends wait though till the end of the queue....
and then we got closer and closer...........
and i cried cho much....
and i went to massu side... and got eye contact.............. and he looked at me with these..... with these puppy eyes like "are you alright"-expression... and he took my hand.... with both his hands........!!!!!!
they were so big and warm... i didnt want to let go, but i had to and told him in japanese that i LOVED his smile and it was the most wonderful smile ive ever seen... and he told me thank you thank you over again, and said he loved me too... ITS CHO FREAKING UNBELIEVEBLE....
and then it was tegoshis turn.... i told gim him thanks cho much... and he said its him who should thank, and said take care.. TEGOSHI TOLD ME TO TAKE CARE!!! OMFG >.< and both gave me these wonderful smiles..................i will never forget them........

after the handshaking event... we went out... and stood there and waited for them... we saw them upstairs in a window, AND STARTED SCREAMING, the looked down at us, and waves at us with smiles in their faces.... they tried to open the window to ay something, but it was stuck xD so staff came and helped them, but still it didnt move, so they just shrug their shoulders and smiled and started to wave again... and then they dissappeard... doing interviews and photos in there.....

that was my evening.... it was THE BEST DAY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!
they had parfum at their hands... so now i smell like them ^^
i still cant believe it... that i shaked massus and teshis hands... im choo cho choooooooooo happy for that.... and my dream came true... i got their eyecontact.... they have really looked at me, they know that i excist..... they know i love them, they know im a fan of them.... finally they know... ive showed them... and its an odd feeling... i cant describe it... it feels so unreal, but at the same time, IT IS REAL, i have done it... and im cho happy... but still its kinda depressing...

maybe i wont see them again.... never ever....
and at a time like this... it was like you wished they would just be ordinary people... that you can be together with... i sooooo wanted to hug them.......

but one thing i hated... was that no cameras were allowed..........
so i dont got any pictures of it inside... but i got one at massu outside, and many pics of us friends sitting there and waiting, oh and also pics of massu and tegoshi at the window.......

cho if you want to i can show it next time....

anyway long post, sorry, but i just had to tell you guys ~~~~~~~~~~~

IVE SHOKED MASSUS AND TEGOSHIS HANDS!!!

I'm just home from the tegomass-release party. Their second apperance today. I'm really lost for words. They had more time to talk this time. I got to talk to them both. They're really friendly and nice. Tego even gave me some soup. His english wasn't bad at all. And the performances were fantastic both times. Those boys can really sing.

Yup they were very nice, I got to talk to both of them too. Actually I heard the screaming outside when we were in the room with Tego and Mass when they waved to the crowd down there. I wrote a more descriptive report for my blogg. I might post it tomorrow.
Tegoshi was very charming and smart.
Massu was very kind and down to earth.

meitantei_toma: I think I saw you at the end of the party. That Miso Soup tasted a bit salty isnt it?

ok, the next time TEGOMASS goes to sweden, we all take a chartered flight and go with them, ok!!!!

it's not fair if only those who live in Sweden/Europe can go to see them....and why on earth do they have to go there anyway (...carefull, tones of stupid jealousy in the air!)

having said that, what's this about NEWS coming back with 6 or 7 members? where'd the rest go? Aahhh.....the JE people are playing hide and seek, eh?

i don't get it, actually. is it really about the two people drinking or is it about something else. i mean, ok, if the guys are clean now, surely there must be some kind of come-back strategy going on....(that's my corporate strategy brain coming into action, but don't know if it's any good in terms of Japanese entertainment).

I was asking the same question... Why Sweden?

maybe it's about the japanese peoples views... I mean, imagine some people who don't like news watching TV then suddenly says, "Why are those drinking under-age boys still appearing on tv?"
But i think JE has nothin to lose, well... reputation maybe... coz people who watch JE don't always like JE, but i hope JE will be brave enough to make the decision... or maybe those 2 boys are the ones who should be brave enough to make the desicion? ^^

The whole report of the day Mr Green

14:45 When I arrived at Spy Bar for the handshake event there was about 50 swedish fans queing outside.
15:15 They've let in everybody. Inside was very crowded.
Staff were selling the CD single on the way in.
The event started with showing Seishun Amigo song on a flat screen TV, ordinary size.
Then Tegomass came in and sung Miso soup followed by a japanese song which I don't know the name of.
On the way out you can shake hand with both of them.
I was standing in the back when they were singing on stage but I was the first one to shake their hands. Their hands felt a bit cold.
After handshaking I stood there with the rest of the crew and watched them shake hands with the rest of the fans.
When all the fans was out of the building I follow the crew into a backstage room where the boys were doing interviews with journalists.
When the interview session was somehow done I saw Massu looking at some of the gift he got at the handshaking. I was curious so I went closer to look and chat a bit with him. He asked me to sit down next to him and I asked what he thinks about sweden so far, about the weather and so on. He was so easy to talk with and gave me a gentle impression. While talking he picked up a album he got from fans and looked inside. Tegoshi was beeing photografed at this time.
The crew was going for dinner so we left.
The boys also went for a walk and returned at about 7:45pm. Most of the time they were filmed and talked with repporters from newspaper, telly and so on. Tegoshi was very keen on speaking in english (he spoke very little japanese with me which is very strong of him) and he understanded most and speaks quite good. I didn't get to talk to Tegoshi untill the time when he went to take some food. They actually had Miso Soup there. The boys was having it and Tegoshi offered me to taste from his cup. Just like among friends. I find that Tegoshi is smart, mature, charming and he handles the media quite well. Always talkaktive.
Tegoshi seems so professional while Massu seems down to earth. They both were very polite and sweet.
Just before 9 pm it's time for them to prepare for performing on stage. Poor Massu was so nervous while Tego was humming.
Then off to stage they go. I went with the crew this time so I got a good spot just right infront of them. When it's time to take group picture with the listener/fans/audiens I had Tego to my left and massu to my right. Massu turned towards me and said "that's a good pose"

After picture-taking they were going back to that backstage room and did some interview with the JE crew and ours too. Then I asked their manager if it's ok to take picture with them and it was .
When coming out of the backstage room there was some other fans there and we all got our CD signed. I think meitantei_toma was chatting with them at this time.

Comments: Wow! I mean I'm excited because this close to a Johnny is impossible in Japan. At the same time they were so natural and no sign of "I'm a star" attitude. During the release party event I somehow got the job as translator for them.
This is really something that doesn't happen often.
While we where in the backstage room the boys opened the window and waved at the fans below and they were screaming. At about 10pm when the boys were leaving there was still some fans waiting outside, in the swedish winter, at night!

firstly, thanks for the event reports! Realy enjoyed reading them Smile

sorry if this sounds rude.. but i'm really curious to know.

meitantei_toma and shirahime did you all go to the event as reporter/journalists or just fans?

because all the while i assumed that for such events the "stars" are tightly guarded and fans can't do much than just to catch a glimpse/shake hands with them but from what you people said (tego offering soup, one to one talk etc), they really do just sound like your close friends Mr Green

i apologize if this sounds rude..

Ordinary fans just get to shake hands. The party afterwards is limited. That much I can say.
