you have a gift for looking between the lines....why the big deal over consoles......it's so yesterday.....not the console itself but waiting in line just to get it first....who cares! if you have such a hard on to get one...just pre-order the dayem thing.

I had an hour or two to kill before going to work, since I couldn't eat breakfast. A lot of people crashed at my place yesterday. Anyway, I tried to buy a Wii, but looks like it's sold out everywhere. I checked a few screen shots (on the back of the games) and the graphics are worst than I thought. Still, I'll probably buy one anyway.

I just finished Gears of War, it was a bit short IMO but a blast
I think I'll buy a 360. A few good games came out lately. Maybe I'll even try DoAXBV2. _________________

thats the thing, the pre-orders are out of stock, no one has it, i even missed the pre-orders @ gamestop last month i've looked everywhere either you have to get it @ amazon/ebay for a $1000+ or you wait in line.. you'll be lucky to find such a cheap price on ebay but it'll raise up when it comes to the last minute, (and you're still waiting lol) i betchu!
to me that is ridiculous though, i'd rather wait for a couple of years, im enjoying my ps2 right now playing final fantasy xii & shadow hearts 1-3 _________________

i'm sure your patience will be rewarded.....no sense in paying an exorbitant amount of $$$ just to have it yesterday.....

The 1st batch is always buggy anyway.
MixxDreamer, you're not alone.
From IGN
Quote:
The next-generation console wars are on and market research group eMarketer has some insight into how things might shake out. A brand loyalty poll among current-gen console owners showed that 60 percent of PlayStation 2 owners plan to buy a PlayStation 3, while only 46 and 45 percent of Xbox and GameCube owners, respectively, plan on buying the updates to their current systems.
A second poll reveals that while Sony may enjoy the most brand loyalty, PS2 owners aren't necessarily the most likely to buy a next-gen console in the next year.
It's possible the reason Xbox and GameCube owners are looking to upgrade more quickly is because their systems have been, for all intents and purposes, "dead" for a while now. In the meantime, the PS2 is still going strong, with several AAA titles ready to carry it through this holiday season.

Well. I won't get a PS3 until the PS4 comes out.... or not bother at all. PS2 emulators are at a stage now where they will run some games.... I have Final Fantasy X running on my comp now!

This is like the worst of the final fantasy series in my opinion. the gambit thing just ruins everything. i actually thought FF X-2 was more fun, eyecandy-ish. _________________

right now, i can't wait to get this.. so cool..
how should i say it... the gambit thing is just...
the bosses have like huge HP and thats why the gambit thing is on. You have to set everything before. If HP<50% use If MP<30% use... etc. etc. You automatically attack whenever you meet a monster. Feels like you're not playing anything, ack of thrill.
