Downloading it now.. at 1.2 G it's taking a long time..... should be done in a few hours. I got those subs, I hope they are in sync with the version i'm getting.

guys.... try this http://d.turboupload.com/d/1250131/deathnote.srt.html I ripped it from my DVD and I didn't edit the timing... my DVD has trailer at the beginning... hope it'll work... just rename the subs... cuz I don't know the filename of the 1,2Gb version...

If it's the same version as the one from death-notes.com, then no, they aren't. But I removed the first 3 mins 34 secs from the beginning of the file (I think it's actually a TV version rip) and the subs sync beautifully (sofar).

Thanks for the subs setiawan_arif, I hope you don't mind, but i'm going to go through them and correct some of the English as some of it doesn't make sense.

im confused. whats the difference between... -movie version -tv version -dvd version? i hav 2 files. one from s^m the other INT-JOKE. whats the difference? which ones better?

I got my copy from death-notes.com. I think it's a TV rip, but the quality is very good. I'm not sure how it differs from the DVD version or the movie version. The one I have is the s^m version, running time around 1 hour 55 minutes without the 3:34 I removed from the beginning.

i lurve raito in manga..but when i watched the movie, i prefer L more... BTW the movie is so great!! i dare to put 5 stars Cant wait for the second part --- the last name.

yeah , L is cool and I prefer Misa Amane(Erika Toda), but her didn't act so much in part 1 ....

I see. Anyway, I saw in the link that you posted (death-notes.com) that they already have subbed the movie and is now available via direct download, but I'm not sure of the quality since it is only 500MB. Sweat

I'll try to get that one when I get home later.
