Thanks to:
TBS for making it
D-Addicts for existing
Gryzze for uploading it
Sayochama for soft subbing it
And BMW for hard subbing it...
I've been watching Dareyorimo Mama wo Aisu.
I mentioned everyone because I'm floored that I've been able to watch a whole series so soon after it was broadcast in Japan. I'm used to waiting a long time before I get to see a show I'm interested in. A 10 to 15 year lag seems normal to me. Because of the folks mentioned above... I'm getting to see this show just 4 months after it started. Damn!
Anyway...
It's a Renzoku (Family) comedy/drama along the lines of 'Otousan" "Oyaji" "Suekko Chounan Ane Sannin"
These are never great, memorable shows. But I'm a sucker for them. They present a family, let you get to know the individual members, and then week by week the writers do their best to ruin their lives, and try to break the family up.
But in the end, the power of family wins out, and everyone usually ends up pretty happy.
For me, these shows are always star driven. If you like the cast, or someone in the cast... it's fun.
In the case of "Dare" I got to watch Yuki Uchida come back to series TV and that would have been enough for me. (Okay, I'm smitten.) But this show also gives you a chance to watch Satomi Kobayashi work.
For my money, Kobayashi is one of the very best comic character actresses on the planet today. This is a lady who clearly has never understood why so many people find making a silk purse out of a sow's ear difficult. _________________

Agree whole-heartedly. I watched "Suika" unsubbed and, even though I understand very little dialog, Kobayashi was great.

have you seen oishii korishikata yet?
Not yet. I finally got it all downloaded... but I want to watch it on my TV, so BMW's gonna hard sub it for me when he gets some time.
thtl
I really want to see "Suika". I was looking at the cast list yesterday and was tempted to start downloading it now (even though almost noone is seeding it.) But Awrittensin has said that she's gonna soft sub it... so I'm willing to wait. _________________

Yeah, but it did finish. And thank you for helping. Once you got involved the download rate went from 1 and 2 kb/s to an occasional 10 kb/s!
That's what happens when you come late to the party. If I'd known who was in it, and what it was about when the torrent first went up, I expect it would have downloaded a whole lot faster. _________________

indeed...there were a few glimpses of hope during the download...i was resigned to the fact that the transfer rate would never be faster than 1 or 2 kb...so the unexpected "bursts of speed" were a welcome sight.

"bursts of speed" LOL
I'm still trying to download 6G of GITS:SAC. It keeps dropping to 1 or 2 kb/s...... it's at about 50% after 1 week, but the seeds (only a few) keep disappearing..... so frustrating. Although it did hit 45kb/s for a short while...
