If he didn't look the way that he did, it wouldn't matter how well he acts or sings, how high-spirited he is. He wouldn't be attractive, he'd never let him get away with the things that he does, and most importantly, he wouldn't be entertaining.

Chris Rock's standup material is entertaining but I don't see girls going nuts for him.

Basically, without his looks he'd be bad boyfriend in those doramas

And with his looks, he's an idol.

I think the brand name kanebo (if I am not wrong). He is the first person help thus cosmetics to advertise, Shingo also did it before..
