I'm still keen to see it. Mika-chan is worth watching anyhow, at least she came back for the second part.

yeah i'll definitely watch it when it's released but this incredibly weak showing at the box office might be a harbinger for those of us who haven't seen it tellling us that it's not very good. i mean the first movie was so well recieved and now nobody wants to see the second one?

On the other hand it may have a bargain basement price tag especially in the Hong Kong market where I got Nana the first for $12 USD includng postage in pristine condition with English subs.

that's true but if it's not that good....no discount would remedy to that. in any event i'll be downloading off of BT so i won't be paying anything Bleah

we'll just have to wait and see....but the fact that the movie premiered in forth place garnering only 31% of the proceeds that the first film did during its opening weekend and now it's already slipped to seventh place....bad news.

Because it's Nakashima MIka I want the boxed version with the full original recording quality. Any d/l is usually a rip from something and has already lost some of the original sharpness not to mention the introduction of artifacts. A Nakashima vehicle must be viewed and honored in the best possible recording. I also like to have the colorful box it comes in. Nothing is too good for Mika. Especially at that price...
now $50 USD and I would perhaps suffer the lesser quality of a d/l.
Doh!

Not really. Don't forget when you are retired you must play golf which burns up cash faster than the US government.

Must play golf?? hehe

Just be thankful you're not in Japan. I've heard that, because of the extreme shortage of land, golf club membership fees are outrageous, making it a rich man's sport only.

In fact, there's a golf course not far from here that's owned by a Japanese company that offers golfing holidays to Japanese salarymen. They fly in, play golf for a week or 2, then fly out again - without leaving the course for anything else Smile All for less than a club membership in Japan.

The municipal golf courses in LA where I play a lot feel as if you are in Asia.... I don't know if they all live here or are visiting but the Asian golfers dominate not only the golf course but the best starting times.

I've heard also that those with less cash/time will do golfing weekends in Thailand and Malaysia.

Thanks Tu-san

I was a bit disappointed with that, not enough Mika-chan.

I was at work today in the lunchroom, and I swear all of a sudden a cell phone starts ringing, and it was Mika Nakashima's song from Nana- I was freaking out! HAHAHA!

Signature and avatar whacked: they exceed the file size (200KB max for both) and/or dimension size (500x150 max for signatures) guidelines.

Gomen nasai.

LOL, what do you define as a rotten egg in terms of movies?

Considering there were lot of other big names showing at the same time...

Japan Box Office
