Just started this drama last night! So far I've only finished epi 1, so forgive me for not reading previous posts. I wanna avoid all spoilers. Bow

Just finished!

My Review: 8/10

First of all, I want it known that I absolutely LOVE Nagase Tomoya, and therefore this entire review may be a bit biased when it comes to my continuous praise of his acting ability.

This drama was simplistic in its storyline and this aided in its effectiveness. Because the plot was simple, more effort was available to pour into the comic elements of the drama. This show was incredibly funny. Unlike Tiger & Dragon (Nagase's previous comedic drama), which has an adult humour undertone, My Boss My Hero was very slapstick in its blunt, in-your-face humour. Nagase's facial expressions in this drama were brilliant, and scored huge points in making me literally laugh out loud.

If you like comedy, Yakuza, and Nagase, this would be the perfect drama for you.

I was disappointed with the ending of the drama, and the "romance" between Makio and his 17-year-old schoolmate was annoying, but the show was still good. It was fun to watch and it served as a healthy break from all the overly-dramatic plots that have been released as dramas in recent years.

Agree. I'd go for anythin by Nagase Tomoya except that one and only horrible dorama. I think he was with Kyoko Fukada or somethin. He's so good and his expressions are Thumbsup. he was also great in Mukodono

I agree with most of you. Out of all the dramas I have seen, this has got to be my favorite. Its got a mix of everything and it kept me entertained every second of the way Mr Green

I think they need to make a special. That'd be totally possible!

Yup! Since I'm on vacation, I'm making use of my free time to catch up on dramas, since it's hard to do so when I get back to work. Victory! Peace!

A DVD burner would be cheaper.

And the stability of the data would be much better with a DVD than a HD over time. Smile
