Am watching Ningen Shikaku by Kinki Kids when they were very young. An 1994 drama serial and it won the best series for that season so I thougt of picking it up to watch. Well, a sad story..some scenes are quite disturbing..after watching the 6th episode, i think i want to stop for a while..maybe the 'hentai' thingy is not suitable for me. but still a worthy drama..good acting by Kinki kids and the young and old actors.. http://jdorama.com/drama.283.htm

Are they worth watching? That's up to you. Myself --- I love them. They're usually 49 episodes long, they go on for a year, and if you get involved with the story they're terrific.

As to Yoshitsune... That was the worst of the Taiga's that I've seen, and I think I've watched either 7 or 8 of them now, beginning to end. Unlike the others, bad acting, a third rate script, and almost no money invested in the production sank Yoshitsune. I don't think there were very many people who could "bare" that one.

But Taigas like "Aoi:Tokugawa" "Toshie to Matsu" "Musashi" "Hojo Tokimune" "Komyo Ga Tsuji" were all terrific. I wasn't that fond of "Shinsengumi", but heck, even that was better than Yoshitsune.

Finished One Litre of Tears in one day yesterda (and I paid for it when I woke up this morning) Making my way through Mukodono now My copies of Kuitan and Tatta Hitotsu no Koi arrived today (And I'll have my two T-dramas with me also tomorrow passes out How'm I gonna fit it all in!?!?! I'm really enjoying it so far, I always laugh a bit in shock at how different Yuchiro is at home with his family to what he is at work! I just finished episode 6 and now I'm off to bed. I shall finish the rest tomorrow Victory! Peace!

Haven't watched any new dramas this season yet. I was disappointed with some dramas last season, hopefully Konishi Minami's series will be a good one. Just finished two Kimutaku dramas - Engine and Hero. I like the Hero Special they did last year, with Ayase Haruka and all of the original cast members.
