Oh I agree he was hillarious! I loved the faces he'd pull behind Sakuranantoka's back so funny (especially in episode 6 when they find Maki in the woods and Kazu is behind him classic)

One of my favourite scenes with him is (can't remember if it's the 2nd or 3rd ep) where Kazu comes to school to bring Maki the Basketball shirts and so that his school friends don't see Kazu, Maki punches him and he rolls down the hill, that scene had me curling over. Bless him so funny!!!

So I finshed MBMH today, and

What a disappointing final episode! It was way too serious at times - at odds with the fun tone of all previous epsiodes. Also, it was too emotional - again, I didn't feel this fit in with the rest of the series. I was also expecting more excitement, but instead there was lots of emotional scenes - folk blubbing etc. I don't think the loose ends were tied up properly either. The final scene perhaps paves the way for another series - if there is one, I hope it ends better than this one.

Yea, I got the impression that the final episode was just a set up for another series, or for a special. I don't think My Boss My Hero is done yet.

I quite liked the ending I'm in a minority with this show for a lot of things XD I like the ending, I like Sakuranantoka, I liked Maki and Hikari I bet a lot of people don't like that couple people either

I think the ending is nothing too exciting. I guess it wraps up the whole thing.. a bit pity on that. It's a typical Japanese drama ending. =P

Yup, I totally agree with you, I really hope there will be a sequel but from my my past experience for J-drama most likely it won't happen

but still Nagase act really good as yakuza don't you think? I've only seen him twice which is in MBMH and Tiger and dragon, I like his yakuza style when getting angry and saying 'konoyaro'
