I was sick this weekend so I watched and finished a ton of dramas.
Orange Days- i was definitely suprised! The two main leads, Kou and Satoshi have instantly become my favorite couple. I pretty much went straight from watching this drama to voting for them here at jdorama. If i could vote for them twice i would.
Anego- Again, awesome! I'm suprised Ryoko isn't in the top 50 here. It was another nice romantic drama after Orange Days.
Engine- I loved it too. What was a nice bonus was I didn't realize Erika Toda and Juri Ueno were in this. Triple eye candy with Koyuki and some of the race queens! This was a pretty nice weekend I thought...
Also, there was a comment earlier that I thought was cute, yeah, it would be awesome if Ken-chan from Kekkon Dekinai could be nominated for supporting actor or something. Makes u wonder how they get the dog to do all that stuff... amazing training...
not sure, i havent watched any specials yet, just first season so not too sure about that, but i think there's probably a special after the first season
okay i'm not going to finish this one i guess. drag me into despair. talk about pace! this thing is daymn fast at the beginning. really isn't my style somehow. a book about a naked woman looking at the sky and then stars turn into gold coins and falls down ?
off to watch Umizaru movie 1. i know i'm supossed to watch this one before umizaru evolution... but who the heck cares!!! IT'S GREAT! _________________

Recently I just finished 3 dramas, Good Luck, My Boss My Hero, Tiger and Dragon.
Good luck-- Like always, Kimura Takuya Always Blows my mind with his acting. I think Kou and Takuya were a good couule but UI think the best ccouple partner for Takuya is Takeuchi Yuko in Pride
My Boss My Hero-- it really cracks me up with tons of laughter, Nagase was really good at playing Yakuza role don't you think? Also Aragaki Yui looks really nice in that movie, so kawaii..
Tiger and Dragon-- Very interesting drama that bring a japanese culture into the theme, also its fun to see Nagase playing as Yakuza again. I was surprised when seeing Itoh Misaki again after seeing her from Densha, she become much more beatiful
So now after seeing and heariing other comment about orange days, tommorow i'm gonna start watching Orange Days,
oh and I also agree about ken-chan being the best supporting actress _________________

you'll see that Shibasaki Kou's character is a little similar to that of her's in Good Luck, but i think you'll be blown away by the acting and the story is really good too _________________

I've only seen her in Good Luck and Orange Days.
She was in that Dr. Koto thingy, but i didn't watch it.
She also acts in movies. There was one where she was playing as a girl who works in a supermarket and the lead actor is Oda Yuji (from Last Christmas, Midnight Rain, etc..) acting was good, story was kinda so so, but i watched it w/o subs. _________________
Haikei ChiChiUe-Sama: Just watched the first part and am looking forward to seeing the rest. Also can't wait for this to be subbed.
Byakkotai - Just finished watching this one tonight. I never knew about this civil war in Japan...very sad. But I really enjoyed this one. Can't wait for the subs so I can understand it a bit more.
Niji wo Kakeru Ouhi - Not bad but the bad makeup effects at the very end sort of ruined it for me.
Bunshiro to Fuku - Not bad (but then...I always enjoy star-crossed love stories).
Yankee Bokou ni Kaeru - This drama had me crying from the first 20 minutes of the first episode...and right through the rest of the drama. I was surprised because I didn't think I'd enjoy it at all...but I did...

I watched "Oishii Kokoshikata" ("A Delicious Way To Kill") this evening, and I have to say... it's been a while since I've enjoyed anything as much.
Okina Megumi, Inuyama Inuko & Iketani Nobuo moved right onto my "favorites list" of TV detectives.
It's a TV movie (series Pilot?). A comic murder mystery that's more about creating seriously funny characters than serious murders and solutions.
The movie is sharp, fast, funny, inventive... and if the murder itself hadn't been so silly, such an after thought, it might have been great.
As it is... it was simply a great way to spend an hour and a half, and it left me wanting to see these three ladies involved in more mysteries.
It was also great to see Maki Yoko in a mainstream TV drama... but that's probably just because I have a crush on her. She didn't really get to do anything in this piece but be the pretty girl. Oh well... she's very good at that. _________________

glad to hear you're enjoying Orange Days.
I'm going to give KimuTaku's new drama a try. From past experience, i haven't watched a drama that he's been in that i hated or felt it was bored.
now i'm watching Kuitan ep 7. The foods in this drama looks yummy too, even though some of them seem like its just normal everyday food. _________________

I just finished watching ep 9 of Kekkon Dekinai Otoko. What a refreshing drama!! The drama felt sort of slow to me at first, but after the 2nd ep, I got used to the spacing and enjoyed the drama immensely. It's been a while since I'm able to enjoy a Jdrama this much. Not a single moment seems wasted or boring to me, even the tiniest detail proves to be so humourous and interesting it makes me go 'ah hah' later on (when I replay the scenes in my head after I finish an episode, that is) .
Now, all I need to do is to wait for the remaining 3 eps to be finished downloading. If only I was more patient to wait for them all to finish then I wouldn't have to bear this devastated wait .
~ Ken-chan!! <-- my fav. character next to Shisuke, heheh . _________________

If it involves food, I'm more than interested in checking it out... I caught a few glimpses when I was hardsubbing it, but I haven't watched it completely yet... Time to bump it up in my queue, I suppose.
