Domyouji wa BAKA!!! Poor Tsukushi. So sad. I know a lot of people don't like Shigeru but she's kind of cute. A little over the top and a little annoying, yea. But she doesn't know that Domyouji and Makino are (or should I say were) an item. I love that scene when Soujiro and Akira had to hang out with her for the day. "Tasukette, Yuki-chan!" That killed me. I bet they're rooting for Makino because they can't stand Shigeru.

finally i watched the HYD2 episode 1.. all i gotta say.. great plot.. at first i thought the story will be a little exaggerated.. but i was wrong.. it maintains the original pacing of the story.. great!!!! but 2hours.. too long.. (i have no sleep yet) Mao is the same as last season.. Kawaii glad the orignal characters stay.. Jun, Oguri, Nanako.. soooooo greatttttttttt even the guy that trick Makino.. he's acting is nice also.. what is his real name? anyway.. looking forward to episode 2... HYD really blew the crap out of Meteor Garden (taiwanese)

Yup poor Tsukushi I couldnt help crying when she was talking to Tsukasa through the phone, so sad Nooooo, Shigeru is too annoying and seems very false! Im sure she has some dark secrets under that plastic cover Talking about plastic, her teeth are so white that it looks like plastic And she cant really sing either..... So why the heck do the other ppl like her anyway? She's just a spoiled brat and her attitude sucks anyway. Nahh, Sojiro and Akira are rooting for Tsukushi and Tsukasa because they know theyre still in love with each other

I wasn't expecting it to be like the first season. Actually, I put my expectations at a relative low. That way it'll be less likely that I get disappointed.

Shigeru, the amazing plastic person. I love it. Hehehe. Still, yea, when she kissed him at the end of the episode, I was like, "Oh no girl! You did NOT just do that!" By that time I was like yelling at my monitor, "Screw Domyouji! Makino go date Rui!" I'm nuts, I know. I'm really glad Sojiro and Akira are supporting Tsukushi. I like their characters even more this season. Both of them got a lot hotter, also.

i don't know if to wait for the HYD2 episode 2 subs to come out, since i might only understand like 1/3 of everything XD, just wanted to say that pao-chan(she might be around...) and I think that Tsukasa is being an as*hole because he's in someway protecting her from his mom, are we on the right track here?^_~, and one more thing! Hahaha, I think Rui looks the same as before and Sojiro is as hot as always, maybe wears more stylish clothes. But Akira really looks different! When I saw him in the first episode, I was like "OMG, IS THAT AKIRA? ". Seems like he has gotten rid of those awful shirts of the first season And his hair is a bit longer I guess, looks real nice.

Somehow I begin to like the Rui x Tsukushi combination more, especially when Tsukasa is being an ass!

Okay... I am actually surprised that I like this so far! I usually avoid anything that is a continuation because most of them don't live up to the feeling of the first Seasons. So far I really like this one as well!!!

the black stereotype thing at the beginning was WAY too much! What is worse is that the actors took the role to do it!!! I am Black and at first I was not offended with the "rude American" stereotype and the "dark thief" stereotype that stole her bag. But the four Big Black guys in the alley was VERY offensive to me. If they had a black guy, a white guy, a Hispanic and an Asian I would not have blinked. The language was completely ridiculous!!! What was worse is that it dd not make sense!!! Like someone trying to write Ebonics. That was just sad...

So far I really like how the F4 guys are. Akira and Shojiro are even hotter now! And Rui!!! *melts*

I wonder if Tsukasa is compelled to behave as he does under some sort of threat--perhaps that if he continues to have anything to do with Tsukushi, Kaede will hurt the family again. In the soft subs version, he told F4 in one scene that he didn't have the "freedom" to post the red notice. If the Japanese word is really "freedom", then perhaps he's under tight control. But in the SARS version, he uses the word "time" instead. (He didn't have the time to post the red notice.) Also, Nishida is reporting back to Kaede that Tsukasa is having nothing to do with Tsukushi, also suggesting that he's under tight surveillance! But if he's just being fickle, and then later changes his mind and wants to be with her again, I'm going to have a hard time forgiving him! Who wants a rich, mean, spoiled, FICKLE guy??!!! I watched the raw version of the 2nd episode, and I'm dying to know mainly what Tsukushi says to him on the phone. Does anyone know?

I honestly don't think the writers/producers/director meant any harm by that. True, it's very stereotypical and not accurate for the most part, but that scene was just to move along the plot and get the story moving. If you saw last season, there's another stereotype for African Americans (Tu_tricky knows what I'm talking about). I'm pretty sure a lot of African Americans will find that offensive as well. Also, their target audience is Japanese and other Asian countries. The show is not geared toward an American audience. But if it was, they would probably edit some of that and change the script. I really don't think that scene is making a statement that all African Americans are thugs. I think people should just let it go and try to enjoy the show.

I don't remember it perfectly, but Tsukushi said its amazing(sugoi) to talk to Tsukasa from that certain phone and that she thought she would never hear his voice through that cellphone ever again. In the end of the call, Tsukushi said a date and a place for meeting up, the same place as when Tsukasa asked her out and they ended up getting trapped in the elevator during the first season.
