I've recieved my AAA book today........ I thought the book would be bigger I was so drooling with one of Fumi's pic Have a question here, was there suppose to be a poster with the book ? I read somewhere that there was a poster that came with it. Is this true or not ? I want the poster if it's suppose to be with it

hey guyz! wow! i havent been on this thing for ages!! how is everyone? ive been pretty busy with school work but still loving arashi:)! I went to their winter con on January 4th at Yokohama Arena:)! I had the nishi-gawa row, very front in the middle. I thought the members would come around riding on those ride thingies but they stopped right before reaching to me, which sucked:( but the live was awesum!! I was just wondering, i might be a little behind but has anyone seen letters from iwojima yet? if u have, what did u think about it and do u recommend it? Im going to go but idk how it is. ive heard from a lot of ppl that it was good but sad..thankz guyz:)! matanee! love Nino-chan!

hi yamaP... i saw it.. and either the film is good OR bad, nino's IN IT.. and all fans must go and support~ XD
-i found the film very very violent (i close my eyes many times) ...
-and nino carrying through the movie from beginning to the end is worth the tix! (he literally own the whole movie!)
-and @ one point, i got suck into nino's character, i felt his fright... (credit to nino's great acting!)....
-the subtitle.. it doesn't get in the way too much... i was so into the story anywayz..
-and yes, in many level, this movie is very sad because as u grow to know some of the characters and like them...they die at the end~.. but don't worry.. the ending won't kill u~ *wink*
a MUST SEE for NINO'S (and ARASHI'S) fans!!!~
esp when nino's character is sooooooo close to nino himself... saigo is really funny~

Hello everyone~

Been reading for a few months - started around p. 630, I think - and have just now finally caught up to the current posts. This may be kind of long, so...bear with me, please...

I've taken the long way around to Arashi fandom. First started reading manga just a few years ago, then got into anime a bit, then just this fall finally watched my first dorama -- Gokusen, of course, since I love the manga so much! I was quite happily surprised at how good the dorama is, but I have to admit that my first reaction to Jun as Sawada was, "hmmm they really should have gotten someone cuter..."

Didn't take me long to decide he was perfect for the role, of course. (^_~) Looking for more info on the cast, I saw that Jun also played Domyouji in HYD - EH!?!?! No way, not possible, I thought, & then had a heck of a time trying to find pictures of Jun as Domyouji. I simply COULD NOT picture him in that role! Found some clips on Youtube, along with a TON of Arashi videos etc. and that was the beginning of really getting hooked.

Of course I ended up watching HYD, and again quickly decided he was perfect for the role. After HYD, well....movies, shows, live performances, I love them all.

Arashi as a group are just a heck of a lot of fun to watch/listen to. Watching them interact, in musical performances or on their shows or wherever, can always raise a smile. The way they hold hands, jump on each other's backs, etc. reminds me of the way very close brothers can be...just so comfortable around each other.

Jun was the bait that caught me, and I'm still firmly hooked~ The other boys are cute/attractive/talented, but there's just something about Jun... The sexy moments may take my breath away (OK, sometimes they're a bit over-the-top and just make me giggle), but it's the goofy/dorky moments that really steal my heart. (I'm a bit older than most (all?) of y'all, so I feel a bit silly being such a fan-girl about Arashi, but I figure anything that adds happiness to the world can't be THAT bad! )

A few random thoughts:

Ohno is an *excellent* dancer, but it really doesn't show when he's dancing with all of Arashi because they all have to match. Unless you watch his solos, you won't really see his true ability.

I'm pretty sure Jun didn't do *all* of the dancing in Kimi wa Petto. The way he moves just doesn't match with some of the dancing (I'm thinking of his errrr not-so-great pas de chat compared to the grande jetes in his "performance"), though I'm sure he did a lot of it himself. Also if you look at the performance costume, it's all drape-y and makes it hard to really see the shape of the body while the person is dancing, which makes it easier to use a double. (Eto...Jun has kind of unusual body proportions, for anyone who hasn't noticed. His shoulders are very wide compared to his hips, and his torso is longer while his legs are shorter - it's not usually that noticable but I've seen a few pics where it really shows.) Not claiming to be an absolute expert here, just my opinion based on 8 years of classical ballet training.

For those of you who have seen Letters, how appropriate would it be for a couple of 11-year-old boys who are reasonably mature for their age? My boys have recently become obsessed with WWII aircraft, and I'm thinking this movie might be a good way to get them to see more of the reality of war...but I don't want to take them if it will really be too much.

welcome to the thread TofuQueen! thats so awesum ur into arashi lyke us! yes, Jun is mighty hot. lol. i just realized that Jun's been in lyke ten manga drama/movie thingies. awesum! and he's perfect for each role! especially in kimi wa petto, i honestly fell in love with him in that drama but my hearts with satoshi kun right now. lol. I'm also falling in love with Aiba after watching the mago mago one where they take care of kids. ghaa. if nino gets nominated, i'll flip out! but it might be kinda hard...i mean, it is the oscars. wt if he gets nominated and wins? whoa! i would cry. haha!
TofuQueen-havent seen the movie yet but everyone i asked said its really really violent...hhmmm...can't really say much cuz i havent seen it yet...but if i do, i'll let u know wt (how violent) i think it is:)! I'm not 18 yet (im 17), so im underage to c it but seeing it n e ways:) lol
