I am from Costa Rica and I personally like Koyuki a lot (yet I�Lve only seen her in the last Samurai) and many of my buddies down here think the same thing, yet we don�Lt doubt of the beauty japanese women have, we know very little about japanese movies and Actors/actresses. I think that if Koyuki makes a tour in Latin america she could get a lot of success(and money), this strategy has helped also many other foreing artists to enter into the American Market.
Also I�Ld like to know were can I be informed about good japanese releases. It is too bad we do not recieve much of japanese movies ....well anyways, maybe later we will recieve more from japan

I think that Kuroda Miki was super cute in GTO as Tomoko. I haven't seen her in any other dramas though

you can get so many dramas through bittorent...
after I discovered bittorent... I get to watch lot of japanese drama

I think Konishi Manami �����^�ޔ� has one of the cutest smiles. She is a lot cuter and sweeter than any other Japanese actress. She is a pretty good actress too.

Heh. Funny you mention that. When I first seen her in Hotman, I thought that she kind of looked like a nezumi. And I could never really get accustomed into liking her.
But recently, my girlfriend sent me all kinds of videos from Japan (mostly those comedic types) and to my suprise, there she was! And for some reason, I don't think of her as "Nezumi" anymore, but actually quite cute and hot!!!! Hehe
I guess it was just a matter of getting used to over time.
But I enjoy watching her! She's pretty funny too!

Well there can honestly only be one in this catagory.

Not that others are bad uchimaya rina is very cute too but Hirouse is just in a class by herself.

I will vote for YUKO TAKEUCHI.
She's been good recently in her latest dorama such as Living Today for Tomorrow, The Queen of Lunchtime Cuisine and of coz by all mean in Pride.
She still maintain cutie as always as she is

For me, it will always be Suzuki Honami. Love her role (Rika) in Tokyo Love Story!!

I'm going to go a different route to answer this and say Miki Kuroda in GTO. She was so adorable,cute, and sweet in all her naivety and ditzy-ness she made my teeth hurt. lol
