i bought the dvd and watched it some time ago. i was quite excited but after watching all the episodes, i think it was quite disappointing. on the whole, it was rather an average drama. Yamapi's acting was alright but at some point, i thought there was a bit of overacting. i don't really get the ending.
I have to say that the only reason I'm watching this is because it has Yamapi in it. And even then, it's taken me quite some time to watch all of the episodes. I just finished with Episode 7. Usually with dramas, I tend to watch the whole series within a day or two but with Kurosagi it's taken me three weeks now. But still, there are nice moments within the drama and Yamapi's sort of like a Depp character in this one, what with his ability to switch roles almost effortlessly. I love his quirky characters and Kurosaki's clumsy moments. Other than that, well, it's just an average drama. I doubt I'll be giving this us a second watch. _________________
Interesting you should mention Johnny Depp--my sister is a Depp fan, and I told her, "You've got to see Kurosagi--there's a Japanese actor there who will remind you of Johnny Depp!"
Kurosagi was very entertaining, I thought! I loved the different characters Yamapi played. I did wish that it had ended with more "closure", but perhaps they left things up in the air to allow for the possibility of a Kurosagi II. Does anyone know if there's something like that in the works? And I think Yamapi is utterly mesmerizing with black hair. I couldn't take my eyes off of him!
Nobuta was more emotionally satisfying--I agree. I loved Akira. I almost felt as though I knew him!
I'm so slow I haven't even watch this Yamapi drama yet. I hate it, now he has a new drama but I heard this drama was really good. Sorry I'm also behind on jdramas

It's alright...^^
Me too... I just finished Kurosagi 2 weeks ago...^^
It was really good, yeah...
Because YamaP was so handsome and Maki Horikita was in it too...
I'm also looking forward to YamaP's new dorama, Proposal Daisakussen...
Although I didn't like his pair in this dorama... Masami Nagasawa...
It will be aired in Japan on 20th April...

I randomly started watching this again today (haven't watched it for several months ), I do really love this show and I agree Pi is mesmerizing with black hair XDDDD *strokes his lockes*
I always liked the relationship between Yamapi and Maki in this, I thought it was kinda sweet and subtle.
Oh and slightly off topic I'm very much looking forwards to Pi's ne dorama _________________

I think they were cuter in Nobuta wo Produce, even tho it was one-sided, since Nobuta never really expresses any feelings for Akira.
I though this drama was grand when I first started out, but now I think it's just "okay". I wouldn't mind a second season tho. I mean, after all, I do think Yamapi is delicious. _________________

Anyway, after rewatching nobuta wo produce and kurosagi...I became sentimental...
I want to post a serious comment ...
Kurosagi is a great drama because you can also learn many things from it.
From money transactions to tips in avoiding being swindled.
This kind of drama is advisable to all people.
It's not like other dramas wherein they just make you feel moved but in the end you gain nothing knowledge and values at all.
Kurosagi proves that watching dramas are not just wasting time because you can get more informations, wisdom and moral lessons out of it.
I can still remember that Nobuta wo produce and kurosagi are the reasons that made me watch more japanese dramas, so japanese entertainment should be thankful for having these series.
And these series won't be possible without the wonderful casts especially Maki Horikita and Yamashita Tomohisa.Picking the right casts to perform and portray roles is one of the big importance in a succession of a series.Ganbatte!yamaki!
