Lately heard so many ppl saying that they cried or almost cried when they watched Yamapi's SC Premium. And then I doubt if I am cold-hearted or what b/c I didn't, not even a pain in my heart when I watched the show�c�cyes, I feel sorry for Yamapi and 4Tops, but that's all.....or maybe I don't love Yamapi enough to cry for him? Does the show really that seriously sad to make ppl cry?

To answer your last question, SC Premium was recorded about 1 week to 10days before the Music Station live show.

I did some searching. Kisz is a cover group for NEWS in Thailand. Made up of 8 girls. At some distance, they really do look like the guys. But close up, no match for the REAL STUFF.

But with all the NEWS songs, I really love Akaku Moyuru Taiyo, Cherish, Yume no Kazu Dake Ai ga Umareru, Zutto, Teppen and the latest Hoshi wo Mezashite...

The question is, did people cry because he looked sad, or because what had happened was sad? I don't see any point in crying just because someone you like is in pain. It's whether you experience the pain yourself too is what matters. If you cry because you see he is sad, then what I feel is that you are crying out of your own selfish feelings of not being able to see that person in pain, that you only want to see him smiling and happy, and you feel sad when you don't see that happy face. It's when you cry because you too are feeling the pain, because you feel what he is going through or had gone through, when you cry for the thing that had caused the pain in the first place, when you still would've cried had he put on a brave face, that's when you really are crying for him, and not for yourself.

That said, not crying doesn't mean that you don't feel anything. Crying isn't the 'be all, end all' of expressing sadness and pain. Some people cry at the drop of a hat, some people never shed a tear although it's killing them inside.

Me? I didn't cry. Yeah, it was sad, and what he had to go through was terrible, but no, I don't think it warranted my tears. It was the collapse of precious dreams and hopes, but not the collapse of friendship. They're still close friends, and, out of the rubble of those dreams and hopes that had been demolished, new dreams and hopes rose. It was sad, it was painful, but it is the past.

Interesting comment....lots of the word "cry", kinda make me dizzy....^^;;; But I don't understand 1 thing: Why it's selfish to want someone you like happy and smile?

Switch topic.....just suddenly find myself loving this forum very much. We can express ourselves freely and even sometimes we may kinda "argue" over 1 topic, expressing different opinions, the argue won't last long and automatically stop at some point. But in many other forums, especially Chinese sites, when they argue, they can't stop themselves and need the host to come out and stop the fight, deleting the messages and punishing the ppl........Basically they don't allow any negative comments, even if it's just minor, not-mean-to-insult-anyone comments.....

I say it's selfish because wanting a person to only be happy can hurt that person inside, always trying to be happy so that you wouldn't be sad. I guess it's because we're all for the most part, level-headed people that this place doesn't turn into a war zone, requiring intervention from the mods . It's not the place that's great, it's the people, LOL

Basically his hairstyle is long hair covering up the very short hair underneath.......so if there's no wind, you'd see him like in MS, w/ wind blowing....it'd look like you see from the concert pic.......

Still think that Ryo-chan shouldn't attempt to do rock songs anymore...His voice isn't as strong as when he was younger, these days his voice will falter (read: falls flat) when he tries to reach high notes...He's just not the high-pitcher he used to be.

About SCP, I kinda think that the serious mood of the show is to 'blame'. When Takki went last year, the digged about him, Tsubasa & Subaru. When Yoko went, they digged about the Tokyo Jrs vs Kansai Jrs thing. When Subaru went, they digged about him vs Takki (again). And this time they digged about 4Tops vs NEWS...Somehow the show kept digging 'dirts' out of these people. I think it's great though...You get to hear their inner thoughts.

i think ryo is aware about this.. thats why he starts going to the gym w/tacchon... regular visit to gym means he should refrain from smoking ~

I wonder what happened to Uchi and Kusano. Any knows why they aren't on terubee even though they're still part of NEWS? Don't tell me 'trainees' can't appear... that would be absolutely horrid.

Technically, they're not a part of NEWS anymore. And they won't have any tv appearances at all as trainees, like monta says, they mop the floors . Okay, no, but, they're starting from scratch,s o it will probably be awhile before we start seeing them again ^^;;

Sorry to disappoint you, but yes, trainees can't appear yet. Their position is even lower than Jr. They will be promoted when the company think their training is completed and have good grade.

Oh! I thought they were still part of NEWS. Poor fellows. I was just telling my friend the other day that Uchi was one of the good looking guys in NEWS... thought they might make it back to NEWS after the suspension...

Kinda weird seeing NEWS as a six member group now...

At this moment no one can be sure if they will definitely return to NewS after finishing training.....but there's always chance and hope, as long as they still in Johnny's. Just wait and see.......

i started fangirling NEWS around mid last year, so i'm quite new at this ne.. yoroshiku onegaishimasu~ trying to catch up!

hmm, what else.. oh, my fave is, as you can see, shige. but i totally adore NEWS as a whole and everyone in it..

i see there's a lot of malaysians here nee? i'm currently studying in m'sia.. maybe we should make an outing or something? because i have no NEWS fan around here.. *sobs*

on the other hand, if someone i liked were in pain inside, what i'd do is try to make 'em happy - NOT by sweeping the pain under the carpet, but by giving them moral support and encouragement so that they'd feel that it's only temporary. if they want to talk about it, i'd listen. Hopefully getting something of their chests wud make them feel better.

if they dont wanna talk, that's ok. maybe i'd take them out to the ice cream parlour or a movie...a funny one. it will make them FORGET THE PAIN, even if it's only for 2 - 3 hours.

in short, you're right that we can't dictate other people's happiness, but we can be there for them - just so that they'd not be lonely.

Heh glad you enjoyed it For some reason, i really enjoyed kei's and shige's solo! I think their singing improved quite a lot, especially kei-chan. Haha.. ryo-chan loved rock music all along so i wasn't really surprised when his solo song's a rock one. His voice was really horrible throughout the entire concert though, i hope he didn't hurt his vocal chord or something. Haha.. did you realize that in their performance of "Hoshi wo mezashite", ryo skipped his entire solo portion? That's the reason why there was a long long space in the middle of the song. I think he realized his voice couldn't hold through the song and ended up foregoing his solo part altogether. I hope he gets a good break after his k8 con on sunday Really glad he isn't acting in that spring drama anymore, that guy seriously deserves a break.

Lol this sounds mean but i kinda enjoy the digging. I mean it's more interesting and more substance than the usual "Oh, we'll be releasing the single on xx. we'll ganbare pls support us". It's through such programmes where we see them not being mere "idols". I used to hate yamapi but thanks to such programmes, i've cleared my misunderstandings about him
