Man, funny jokes in this forum! But i agree, DOC was a disappointment. I only liked the character design. The kinda last boss that looked like Sephiroth had some dual gunblade action!

The demon owner badass Vergil is better than Dante or Vincent. His samurai sword is too cool and he just has the coolest clothes/moves. I got DMC3SE mainly cause of him. He has some crazy moves where he chops someone in one hit and when he sheathes his katana, they split apart Evil has never looked so cool lol

I must totally disagree. No offense!

FF7 was good but the plot was okay. The lifestream thing kinda ruined it for me. But it was still good. I liked FF8's gameplay better and their plot made a bunch more sense. Plus, I can see Squall as a down to earth real character as opposed to Cloud who just acts super cool everytime he walks into a room, hitting on 2 girls at the same time. Some of the characters were weird and seemed misplaced. I didn't learn much about Vincent and Yuffie (secret charcters). But in FF8, all the characters get some story dealt with them. It felt more real to me, trying to pass the seed exam and becoming a soldier! Now don't hate me..

But i'll admit, Cloud V. Sephiroth is the best rivaly in a videogame.

They're both bad-ass, in my opinion. And you talked about a rivalry just awhile ago, and I think the Dante-Vergil rivalry is much better. What do you think about Nero (DMC 4 Protagonist)?

FFVIII was very good. My only gripes about it is the story...

Squall: *What the hell is wrong with Rinoa... Can't she tell I don't like her? She gets on my nerves...*

*About 70% - ending*

Squall: ZOMG RINOA I AM SO FREAKIN' IN LOVE WITH YOU NOW, I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT I JUST INSTANTLY THOUGHT THAT WE'RE DESTINED FOREVER!!!1!!111!!

But overall, it's a very good game. One of my faves.

I thought FF8 was better than FF7 when I play it, because I was in grade 5 or 6 when playing FF7. The story kinda hard to understand back then. But after I finish with FF9 I decided to replay it(and to get my revenge on Ruby weapon and the 1,000,000 hp undersea weapon) So that was the moment that made me realize that ff7 has the best story and the character composition is well balanced..

Agreed, the greatest rivalry in videogame is non other than those two

just played the first 2 missions, and it's fun: just like C&C, but somehow it's missing the Westwood feel to it, now it's all presentation blockbuster EA all over it.

OMG OMG! I forgot! I love Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. It's all about conventional warfare. I just can't play any 3-d ones like generals on my comp. I like those cheesy movies with real people. They took them out in generals but it made the storyline a lot more fun =) I wish I could play the new one. Sounds great. I think it'd be better if they went back to 2-d!

Dante and Vergil is cool but Cloud and Seph have some bitter hate after Seph killed someone that's apparently very important. Vergil just kills everything in his path with samurai style haha. He makes bad guys look cool!

I dont know much about Nero apparently... He looks cool but im just waiting for news about Vergil cause the creators said he's still "important". Whatever that means..

I noticed that everyone in my state (mostly) like FF8 better than 7. But i always tell them that online/boards, everyone likes FF7 better. They're like "Whatttt???" And now it's happening again...

Squall gradually liked Rinoa! It's cause she needed some saving and she was hurt really easy throughout the story. Squall knows how to pick his women when they're most vulnerable

Well I don't know, but I played the game several times already and it felt like he loved her "out of the blue". Yes he gradually liked her but it felt rushed though. It would have been much better if they they put more effort on the love story, since it's the game's theme anyway. But I like the game, it's my 3rd fave FF..

And the Laguna thing. You do know about that right? Actually, it's not after 5 years since I first played the game, that I actually "realized"... You know what I'm talking about?

To each his own, I guess. But Starcraft is very good because it's the most balanced RTS I've ever played. It won several awards at the time. And its still very popular til now, more particularly in South Korea.

For me FF 8 its 3rd too..
Btw its like for 1/3 of the game that I realized that we could use the r1 button as Squall attack to trigger the gun..

Why no getting online with the 360? I mean if you can already afford the console itself the monthly Xbox Live costs are nothing compared ;-)
