Just some random comments:

Nodame being #1 was right. Was expecting 14 sai no haha to finish ahead of Boku no Aruku Michi.

The Mag Readers giving Tatta Hitotsu no Koi at #2 shows how ridiculous they are.

Kusanagi Tsuyoshi shouldn't be #1. Tamaki Hiroshi or Yoshioka Hidetaka deserved the title.

I'm surprised Ueno Juri beat Shida Mirai. Ueno Juri's voice is pretty much the same in real life, but she did still make her own character.

I like Tsutsumi Shinichi but Koide Keisuke deserved it much more.

Nodame sure won lots of awards-- much more than I thought.

Boku no Aruku Michi, Nodame Cantabile and Dr. Koto are my fav dramas. I also think that Tamaki Hisroshi and Yoshioka Hidetaka deserve the the title, as much as Kusanagi Tsuyoshi. But i think it's the character that Kusanagi played gave him more points. IMHO it's amazing to see how he played the character of an autistic 30 year-old-man very well. When i watched the first episode of Boku Aruku, there was no doubt that he would win the award. And it came true

we wanted to do this again but i was def. MIA...

and i know i'm still kinda MIA... but i loved so many dramas in 2006. actually looking back @ the 2005 awards, im sad that it was so JE-dominated. (i really liked tiger & dragon too, well i guess that is kinda JE-dominated too but with older ppl than kame and such).

but some of these official television awards really blow me again. ours is just a jdorama thing but... wow.

Hisashiburi

Most of us don't have the change to see every shows. We might miss a few good ones from time to time. Also awards shows are sometimes subject to bribes and pressure from big production companies and such. An effective way to push a talent a little bit more into stardom.

I guess we could do it during spring, to give everybody the chance to watch most/all the dramas broadcast the previous year.
