i'm gonna do an article again for the school mag, i've done some searchin (not good at this Beaten )

i was thinking of doing an article on the artistes in the japanese music industry who made the most money... but the ones who are popular right now...

does anyone know where i can get some charts and stuff ( i can't read that Oricon page ) ... like who has the most earnings in 2006 and bestselling albums and the article i've heard somewhere about Namie Amuro having the most singles at #1 spot in Oricon and stuff.

or, any suggestions who i should do the rview on? i doesn't have to be an artist, a company like JE is good too.

thx a lot. i really appreciate it Big Grin

You can check the oricon charts in romaji too. Just click on the link at the bottom of the page where it says "albums (english)" and "singles (english)" link. Wikipedia has a few basic stats too. link

Canada unveils C$1 million coin

OTTAWA (Reuters) - The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled a welcome addition to any piggy bank on Thursday -- a monster gold coin with a face value of C$1 million (455,000 pounds) that it says is the world's biggest, purest and highest denomination coin.
The Canadian mint introduced the mega-coin, which is the size of an extra-large pizza, alongside the one-ounce gold bullion coins it is mass producing at its Ottawa plant.
Does this mean we can expect an Italian coin the size of a hockey puck?

Holy crap. In that case, I don't mind not having one. Sweat

I never buy magazines and can't read much Japanese, so that would be pointless. I could buy them for the pictures like CanCam, but women mags are full of perfume ads that makes me sneeze. I'd be too embarrassed to buy them anyway... Trying to explain to the clerk when she gives me this stare o_O ... Like, "yeah, I wanna know what's the latest women fashion and make-up trends this season." Beaten
