Lot of people want see him, meet him or know him in person....but why? You don't think is much better to know him how he's in official presentations? If you're be dessapointed? Usually the actors show to fans only the good part.....how know him behavior in particular? Or maybe this wish is only for him body or physical look? Be realistic.....or you belive in Cinderella dream? But how know, true?

waaah! kowai...so bitter...of course, as a fan you can't avoid it if we want to meet our favorite actors in person...for me, even 1 picture together is enough, and then i'm contented all ready...we also think about realistic things but we can't help but daydream once in a while about our shun fantasies, as the saying goes in filipino 'libre lang mangarap' which translates as 'dreaming is for free' something like that, so i don't think it's such a bad thing...if you don't like what we talk about in this thread why bother reading/posting? remember, this thread is for oguri shun fans, so we can talk about him any way we want. _________________

i don't think it's wrong to have such dream... i mean, knowing someone in person is better than just the positive side shown on tv...
i think i won't feel dissapointed if i have a chance to meet shun... based on others experience, he seems polite and nice outside of camera...

you might be right or you might be wrong, too. there's nothing wrong if we want to meet shun, he's just a little extraordinary from us, he's just being shown in tv shows, featured in magazines, but you know he also lives a life, the only difference is that he's always being followed because he is an actor. but he's just in Japan, if we go there it's possible that we bump into him. shun might be wearing the good and nice mask because he is an idol but we all know that everybody has his bad side, I'm pretty sure he's not that bad or something.

Sorry if I hurt some fan-people feelings.... but I really belive Oguri Shun must appreciate more this fans who talk and sometimes will criticized him how playing in movies ..... I think that help him much like all this praises....For instance, I think sometimes his face is inexpressive, but maybe I wrong and this is the japanese culture.....Hide your feelings....Sorry again for hurt the fan feelings....

hmmm...maybe he's not that expressive but I'm pretty sure he's very grateful to his fans. there's no shun oguri if he has no fans why, have you had an encounter with shun yet he just snobbed you or something?

Nice....But unfortunatelly is only the life experience.....Of course you're much younger like me .....maybe here I found only blind fans not people who want to talk and change impressions about this young actor....And finally, if you wondering about me if I have ever had an encounter with this young actor.....I'm really sorry, but any chance for me to meet him or anything else.....I'm too old for this things.....But never said never....indeed? Of course there will always be a phisical atraction, but is also how he is, or at least how he is presented to us, cause as you say we havent se his bad sides or anithing and in such a word like the tv and movie is dificult to find real people, but at the same time like vina.loves.sushi said: dreaming is free _________________

i guess different people have different views, and people are entitled to them...
maybe as you grow older, your opinion differ as you gain more experience. what you said is also true... not all people are really what you see on tv... don't judge a book by it's cover, right...

everyone and everthing all have different aspect of them some only seewhat they wantto and some see somthing different
so iguess somepeople have to deal with somthing somtimes

i agree with you in that we should be truthful. when its time to criticize i will...and when its time to praise i'll be more than glad to. i think shun would love more constructive criticism rather than sweet worthless praises. some fans are completely blinded by the physical attraction and believe who he is on camera is how he is in real life. personally...if i do ever meet him...i think i'd just want to have a drink with him and talk. pretty boys dont make good boyfriends. lol he is a poster boy and if he turned out to be a jerk in real life...how cares?? we love him because he can act and he's good looks can kill (lol) not because he's nice...or sweet...or whatever. personally...i'd like it better if he's got attitude.
in general, asian men should have more BACKBONE. some of them are so sissy they make me look masculine~!!!!
