hello jess here, i've been catching up on Liar game too (: Haha liar game seems to be a mix of kurosagi (though more interesting and with more variety) as well as death note (though it's a less clever and more predictable version)

my guess would be that mr x would give in to akiyama since he wouldn't be able to win this round anyway after he revealed that he's mr x-.- the other two competitors would give in to mr akiyama too with the promise that he continues with the game and wins enough money to pay off the debts of all the players that were cheated by mr x. from the preview of the next episode, it seems that akiyama-san was the only one that proceeded on to the next round. (perhaps this has something to do with the death of his family members too.) hmm this is only episode 4. i wonder if there are more rounds to come after the third round. or perhaps the organizers of the liar game may have something to do with the death of akiyama's family members.

Man episode 4 was utterly amazing.

yeahh a pity the tv ratings aren't exactly reflecting that. mans, i can't believe it's still below 10% for the second consecutive week -.- They better not terminate this halfway.

The ratings were supposely bad because a ballgame was also on during that time. Alot of shows had a rating dive that week I heard because of it.

Ok, let see this episode developed right at the end so there weren't that many giveaways however, I already have a conclusion (just not 100 percent certain as my previous).

Mr. akiyama knows the game went down to luck after the tie (for a reason he said the game could go to the worst case scenario) However, to change the luck factor to his favor he purposely shows his answer (no) to the three remaining. This is a straight out bluff simple as that. There is no clear cut strategy at this point and he went with a mental-screw as I call it. Mr. X will put up resistance to his bluff and that is to be expected and be forced to try to make allies, but simply will fail after the little speech he gave to everyone how he is so great. In the end, they will have to give in to Mr. Akiyama with the fear they will loose. Here is where the problem occurs... there is no way for any of us to exactly know how Mr. Akiyama will take this, he could for example allow them to join in with the remainder of the group (the original 7 + mr.x + the others) and he will continue playing the game for them. There is one thing for certain, the next episode should develop into an explanation as to why this game even takes place, there is more than money at stake here, there is pleasure in ruining someones live by greed. Note: Looking forward to see how they try to manipulate Nao!

finished watching episode 4. do you guys really think Aikiyama will win it?! i dont actually understand why he will win it that easily.. still a puzzle to me. maybe in episode 5 has the answer.

I just started watching ep 1...wow, this show is really goooood! Very intriguing plot. Kinda makes you guessing what'll happen next. And I like the combination of Erika Toda and Matsuda Shota. It's nice to finally see them on lead roles. Sometimes though, during Erika Toda's cute moments, I can't help but see MisaMisa and I also hope that she doens't overdo it to that point that it'll get annoying So sad to hear though that the ratings aren't picking up

I have a feeling he planned something with Mayuko because there was a scene where he and mayuko met outside his room. But they do not show if there was an interaction. I could be wrong though.. However, his plan is very smart. By saying he's the winner out right, people may join his side to try and win. But if everyone does that, they will become a majority and they will lose. And then someone has to sacrifice themself to lose to get Shota to lose. And no one is willing to do that. That's pretty ingenious!

No that's right, is basically a point I tried to explain before.

Noticed in the preview how it says "why are you sacrificing yourself?" Yep, exactly, someone has to do it. Now will it be him? I doubt it, I actually think is the girl (the one thought to be ms. X at first, I think her number is 15, her name no idea lol)

i like the last part when akimaya-san threw in the card with the vote. that's soooo smart! this will put the other players in a spot! i oso think that no.15 will haf something to do with akimaya-san's new plan (after disclosing X's real identity) because of the scece when akimaya-san and no.15 meet up in the hallway. however, i oso haf to praise X's character's smartness! at first i was still blur-ed by how he convert the total strength the 24 and how he confirm himself to be in the minority! good show! and i cant wait for nex epi!!!!!!!!!

we just have to wait again for the next epi.
