I'd have to say nothing deep (however the director seemed to try to put some meaning into this movie) but quite enjoyable. Apart from Manami-chan there is all that udon - food gets me, every time...

Me too, but unfortunatelly I can not watched the last 10 minutes of the final episode because there is trouble with the DVD I guessed.
It is really annoying that I already watched the last 5 episodes in a row (until 3 AM) and I do not know the end of the story. Shameful Cry Shameful Cry

I am really curious right now, can anyone tell me the story after Halu was hospitalized after beating Green Monster, and then Aki came and ........ my DVD screwed up.

Finally took the time to watch Udon... Very good movie. Thumbsup

No carnage, violence, body count, or gripping drama, but totally enjoyable and even heartwarming.

Highly recommended viewing. Victory! Peace!

And the perfect vehicle for Konishi Manami: she's perky, kooky, and totally adorable.... Big Grin

Now there's the solution to a techno problem that I can identify with.

I'm watching one of my "orphans" right now.

Yakusha Damashii. Matsu Takako's show from the end of last year.

I have all of the video, but the fella who was subbing it had to bail, so only 3 of the episodes have been subbed. Bugger.

I'm really a big fan of Matsu's, and I love the story of this drama. An artist's Manager (Matsu) is assigned the company's one old stage actor. He is / was a great Shakespearean Actor... but he won't do Television. Won't do commercials. And as a result... he doesn't make a whole lot of money. And 10% of not a lot, is not enough to live on.

Heck, even the great English actors used to sneak over to Japan or America to do commercials, and a few commercial Movies here and there just to pay the rent.

Anyway, I'm a live theater nut, so I was really looking forward to this show. So I guess 3 episodes are better than none.
