Well, seeing who some of the hara-helicopters were tonight just reaffirmed what I always thought...HG is talentless and unfunny (typical for a former wrestler I suppose), and that gaijin in the green shirt is neverendingly annoying. It would be nice if he'd turn down his personality a notch or two, but he's completely over-the-top no matter what show he appears on! He somehow managed to marry a Japanese woman, but how she stands being around him is beyond me. They have a kid too...hope he takes after his mother!

I'll still miss Dotch Cooking with subtitles! Keep watching it on TV Japan if you can (no subs though). I don't know when it will be on again next since it looks like the sumo tournaments are pre-empting some shows at the moment and I haven't received the most recent TV Japan programming guide in the mail yet.

I'm on the side of the woman chef. Not because I think her ramen is better, but if she doesn't win, she's going to kick everybody's ass! Sweat

When they said her son had passed away, I thought "No way she loses now" But I guess the judges decided, "Yeah, I feel sorry for you lady, but I wanna eat!!!" Japanese are getting more like Americans everyday. Grumble
