Yeah!Enough of Man U and Chelsea although they in their own rights deserve to be where they are in all the competitions.

I don't think West Ham will get relegated cause their team are simply way too strong in every department for the Championship. And they are now on par with Wigan now.And courtesy to Fulham's 3-1 loss to Arsenal earlier in the day...Fulham are now only 1 point above both of them.Fulham got lucky despite the loss...without Niemi's help they should be turned upside down inside out!And Sheffield Utd is more or less out of the relegation fight, which is god cause they played nice passing football sometimes. So my predictions of the bottom 5 teams at the end of the season.

16.West Ham Utd
17.Fulham F.C
18.Wigan Althetic
19.Charlton Althetic
20.Watford F.C

Watched the entire Man U vs Milan match on Wednesday.I must say that Gattuso and Ambrosini were instrumental in Milan's deserving victory over the Red Devils. They just sat back and defend as if their career was on the line. And they did it so well.Ambrosini did all the clearing jobs, patching up any small holes in Milan's defense whereas "Rino" Gattuso did the destroyer job and well...he did destroy C.Ronaldo's confidence and play totally. And he still had enough time to stop Carrick as well!!!Gattuso is to me the best DM you can ever have in this modern age of football. He reminds me of the legendary Bruno Conti...

Man U was pathetic.Dida barely even had to dive at all.A combination of almighty defensive work by the Milan backline and midfield coupled with Man U's poor passing made the game soooo boring for Dida!!!

Now Milan take on Liverpool...let's hope no repeat of Istanbul...that's a total heartbreaker...

Yeah, in the past years I haven't been much of a Milan fan,
but they totally destroyed ManU in the match. And that's not something to underestimate, the #1 team in the PL was really hard to beat this year.

Again Kaka scored a perfectly placed ball. Glad to see Seedorf to have a big contribution to the game too. Back in his homeland (as in Holland) he's oftenly being treated as a screwup (as in dribbling ball too much, being selfish), which was somewhat true in his younger years. But now at AC Milan he proves year in year out to be an exceptional player with a great passing skills and above all a good shot. He's also the only player who's ever won the CL with 3 different clubteams. And with him, Kaka as attacking players, Pirlo as the playmaker you need someone to like Gattuso. He really shined in this match. And that's what ManU exactly lacks after Keane left.

Normally these defending midfielders are invisible, I'm a big fan of Makelele - when he left Real Madrid's team started to fall apart and they haven't recovered yet, the team is still really unbalanced. I really love players like Viera. When he left, even if Fabregas is a supertalent, he left a gap on the Gunners' midfield. It doesn't have the same pressing power as they used to have.

I can't say I'd fancy Liverpool to win, so far they haven't played any football that you'd consider them as "titel" contenders. The CL final of 2005 was a special one, at 3-0 in the first half I actually turned off my TV haha.

Hopefully we'll see a an equally amazing final this year.

AC Milan got compacent and let their guard down last time, which allowed Liverpool to bounce back in shocking style. But I doubt history will repeat itself if Milan did get a comfortable lead over Pool halfway though the match. The Man U match is evident. Not a single Milan player slack despite having a 2 goal lead.Which is pretty expected. With a "madman" like Gattuso there who keep shouting at you to keep up the good work it's hard for you to even think of slacking!!!

And furthermore...Gattuso had said that he felt angry with Gerrard's comments in his autobiography.Repotedly Gerrard wrote "Mostly Italians are well known for their defense but Gattuso is like a cat.I dare to say that I don't mind playing with him every match. He's not good as many protrayed him to be."Well...let's see if whether Gattuso even need to use revenge to fire him up...

Sure sure hope Milan loses that damn final and gets humiliated by Liverpool for the 2nd time. That's totally what they deserve. Of course I'm a fan of Italian football, but I hate Milan (being an Interista) and no matter how good it's for Italy, I can't think of supporting AC Milan in any competition. I wish they would've dropped off earlier. bleh

I have no interest of what the Milan board do.I don't pay to watch them do all these talks...what's most important is that the Milan players fought like mad to reach here. All the criticism's unfair to the players. They played no willing part in it.

Since they are in the CL final then it's only fair that the best team win.If Pool win then congrats to them. They deseve it.Same goes for Milan. In any case we are in for a good final...rivalry is intense....

I think it's either the Italia Serie or Spanish Liga.Italia Serie because even the small names can teach you a bit about defending. That's just the defending blood running though those Italians.

Spanish Liga due to the technical style. The players are much protected,so aggressive players like Gattuso will not survive there. Is the tackling must be precise and accurate...and at the right timing as well.

For watching pleasure the English Premier League is IMO the most exciting, competitive of em all. Spanish League comes in number 2 for watching pleasure.

Italian Serie A is just boring to watch.

Yeah entertainment wise...Liga and EPL is good.Italia Serie is boring.Too few attacks but the Italians have techniques. But they just rather defend...so if you are one who prefer to watch clearance slides and headers more than silky trick moves then watch Italia Serie. If not watch EPL and La Liga...

Man, the CL final last night was rather disappointing.

Liverpool lost the game because they played only 1 striker, I hate negative football with defense in mind (just like the FA cup final last weekend)

even though they were dominating the first half, and Milan's freekick deflected goal was a lucky, Benitez should have changed the formation immediately after the break. I think Liverpool managed to beat so many teams this year because they always were threatening with fast striker like Bellamy in combination with Kuit.

none of the 'big' players from either side were in form. The second half was appaling, but then came along Pipo (Inzaghi), I really hate this type of striker. But when he scored the 2nd goal I was clapping my hands. Sheer class and he does what he must do: score goals nothing more, nothing less.

Hahaha, I dont know if you've been following EURO 2008 qualifiers, but I went to Helsinki last night to see a match between Finland and Belgium. And what a match it was! The audience was AMAZING (like in the match against Serbia on Saturday) and there was one thing you can only experience in Finland:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPOS64vVo10

Yes, it's an OWL that lives in the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki. It was just hilarious. Ironically, Finland scored right after the owl left the pitch Applaud Poor Belgian guys, got scared of Mr. Owl hehe

Nothing much to talk about...so I'll just ask this question...

Qn:Do you think Barcelona is being clever by trying to sign Arsene Wenger?

I personally think that Laporta had proved me that he's no silly business man.The two targets of Fabregas and Henry...they both had stated that they are indebted not to Arsenal, but to Wenger.

So if Barca do sign Wenger, then Fabregas and Henry will have no reason to stick with an under-performing Arsenal side, although despite the fact that they are still playing one of the nicest footballs in the EPL.So Barca will get Wenger Fabre and Henry!!!Nice combo...haha!!!Athough I don't think matters will be that simple....

I think consintency is what every club needs, and that's hopefully what Barca will get by letting Rijkaard stay.

( I'm not a Barca fan, but a fan of Atletico de Madrid. That's of course, only in Spain, because my favorite from all is definitely Internazionale.)

the fans in this thread seems to be gone Doh! ... let ask some questions,

1) Liverpool signed Torres, is this a good deal or what ?? first of all, i don't think him deserve that much money... second, he may become the same as Fernando Morientes....

2) Newcastle, after signing Barton, Viduka and Geremi.... anyone thinks they will become strong enough to threaten 4th and 5th place ?? and is Owen going ???

3) Chelsea Shake Head Shake Head is every players only play for money ???? bleh

the answer is yes, look at Terry and Lampard, they refuse to sign a new deal because they want a higher weeksalary up on par with Sheva and Ballack.

and I don't blame them, those 2 were mediocre at best last season.
