Yea, Yea,, there's a year that Michael Jackson came here,, but I also forgot.. Bleah

For me,, I learn Japanese by the lyrics,, learn the a-i-u-e-o one by one,, then only the Kanji words,, some of the Kanji meaningz is the same as Chinese,, but some is totally different.. Like Aoi,, the Japanese kanji wrote ,, but in Chinese,, that means Green.. Ha^^ Anyway,, I still dunno how to use the grammar.. Sweat

Whoa~~ So envy,, u've watched so many sxs Oyabin.. I only start watching them from 13.11.2006,, with Matsu Takako as the Bistro guest,, continously,, until now.. The rest,, I skipped so many,, I'm so regret that I skipped them,, now wanna find also very hard.. Grumble

Yaaa.... thank you for the link!!! Haha.... looks like Kimura doesn't really like girls with short-hair? That's why Kudo never cut her hair short??

Iyadaaaaa~~ Kimura held the female announcer's hand so long!!!!>_<

The female announcer doesn't really seem to be THAAT interested in him. rofl She may be a fan, but maybe not a big fan. Usually those that are his fans would be fidgeting and be really excited, but this announcer was rather calm. She seems very cool and collected, and we all know Kimura likes women who are kakkoii like that instead of those giggly ones!

Yanie, I was somehow dissapointed after watching this clip. Did you get the same feeling? Usually when he talks about Matsu, I would be really excited but in this clip, the stuff he said was not what I really wanted to hear... Shake Head

I was reading one of the old WUS reports and Kimura was saying how his heart skipped a beat when he first saw Kou Shibasaki. I was so angry when I read that because I don't like the pairing of him and her together!!! Shameful Cry That was around the period before the shooting of [Sora Kara], I really dislike Kou!!! But Kou Shibasaki is rather his "type" right? The not-so-typical Japanese girl look and that long, long hair of hers. Minus Kou's fierce eyes, she reminds me a lot of Kudo.

Uwaaa... natsukashiii ne, to hear that song!!^0^ haha, today my class learned the kanji of "hansei" (to reflect on). It reminds me immediately of LOVE GENERATION, coz that's where the first time I heard/learned this word, heehee...

Zephyr!! Quiz for you! Can you guess from which scene and which episode the word "hansei" was? Hint: A cute Teppei-Riko scene... Mr Green No cheating! lol!

Even though I don't understand Japanese, I'm sure I know this one because I have watched Love Generation about two million times. Okay better not get over-confident but I think this scene was outside the office, when they were on their way to work? Bonk

Yanie, do your schoolmates like SMAP too? What are the favourites among your friends in Japan?

Oh! thank you very much for your teaching, zephyrscarlet!
I am so bad at spelling I often make a mistake. Probably you're right, it must be because of the Japanese-like pronouciation. We call it Japanglish, haha. hehe For the people who are studying English, Japanglish is very annoying. Yeah

I am from Singapore and we speak a kind of English called Singlish too. It is quite terrible, because our English is mixed with some Chinese, Malay and dialect words. It happens in every country so don't worry, we all face the same problem! I think your English is already very good. I don't think any SMAP members can write as well as you! Bonk I think your spelling is pretty much error free. As long as you keep that determination and drive that you have, I'm sure your English will be excellent very soon!

oyabin wrote:

BtW, I have a question., its kind of an off-topic, though, I was very surprised all of you write excellent English. I know in Philippines and Singapore, English is one of main languages, desho? But, in other countries, most of people speak and write English so well as you?
Or are you special in Malasia, Indonesia, Thailand or other countries?
In Japan, we all study English in schools for a long time, but you know, most of people can't speak English. I have been wondering about that.
If you have time, please tell me your opinions. Bow

Just wondering Oyabin, are you pure Japanese? I think the main way to learn English is through practice, like what you are doing now! Mr Green Practice in speech and writing. Check the dictionary for words you don't understand. My English was not very good, but that's what I did to improve it.

Also, I don't think PURELY watching American TV shows and stuff like that would help because they use a lot of slang words and speak too fast. Like how I watch so many Japanese dramas and variety, but I know almost nothing about Japanese besides the simple phrases. The most I know are single words but I can't form any long sentences at all.

I have a question too for you. In Japanese schools, do they use Japanese to teach you guys English? Is that why there is a Japanese pronunciation in the way Japanese speak English? No offence, but sometimes I really wonder why so many Japanese can't speak English, even though Japan has one of the strongest education systems in the world!

I know Japanese dramas may not be a good indication of how Japanese Education is like, but I was really shocked when I watched the school dramas such as GTO, Gokusen and My Boss My Hero. They were teaching really simple English words to teenagers who were around 18 years old and when it was Mathematics period, the Mathematics being taught were WAY MORE ADVANCED. I was really shocked when I see things like that happen.

Would love hearing the view of a Japanese on that matter. w00t!

Speaking of SMAP, Tonight's SxS's guests are models of JJ or some magazine(I don't know their names. One of them is the girl who was in Hana yori dango as a fiance of MatsuJun). And Rokuro (ceramic making), Kimura's magician skit and Tabidachi no Uta. Tanoshimi desu.

I love Rokuro! They always seem so shocked whenever they see the final product. This is one section where Shingo can really show his amazing artistic talent!

So Elaine, you are in Brunei? Or Malaysia? Mr Green

I speak and write both English and Chinese, many Singaporeans are fluent in both. At least the younger generation is like that. I think it's our education system and cosmopolitan environment that makes us more language savvy. In many ways, we are a lot like Hong Kong.

In terms of languages, I admire Yanie. Her standard of English is good and she speaks her native language AND Japanese too. Sugoii. w00t!

Yea,, I agree with ya,, Yanie is so fluent in languages,, her English is so perfect,, she can write so briefly,, this is what I cant,, ha,, Sweat

Btw,, Zard's vocal pass away yesterday,, quite a sad news... Sad

We are taught in Japanese by Japanese teachers who don't speak English well. Yes, that must be a point. But in these days, many schools start to adapt English speakers as teachers.
Anyway, too late for me, placticing is the only way to improve language. Bang Head

BTW, I failed to record SxS song part because today's air time is longer than usual. Shameful Cry
In Bistro, Shingo was so cute when he was dressing like models.
The song was very nice. but they didn't dance at all.
And Tsu's hair is too short. He said in his radio program that he wanted to let his hair long, but he had to have his hair cut for some reason. I think he wii grow his hair after shooting the movie w00t! I like his hair in "Nihon Chinbotsu".
Kimura's skit was funnier than usual. Honestly speaking, I don't like his skits much because they are always too long.
Sorry, he is my 5-ban. Sweat

I am very shocked hearing the news that she passed away.
I din know that she had a cancer and was in a hospital.

SMAP Award is just the name of awards for the campaign as well as SWEAT Award.
The detailed information of the event hasn't been anounced yet.
It is unknown even whether or not SMAP will appear on the stage.

Thankz Levy for the capz,, I'm downloading now.. Mr Green

Btw,, have anyone here watch the sxs 1997~1998 countdown episode?? Ha^ Itz a must watch,, especially the second part.. Itz so funny,, haha,, first itz the 4 members as the host together,, Nakai went to NHK for the hosting of Kouhaku.. Hmm,, the way they countdown,, I like it.. They arrange a hundred thousand of blocks and let them fall,, like a puzzle,, some even have pics of sxs skitz,, like Mabo, P-chan.. Kirei ne~~ Ha,, Kimura-kun alwayz call Nakai-kun to come back to the studio asap,, whua~~ I love this,, the last part (singing part),, Kimura-kun sayz he's so worried that Nakai-kun might not rush back.. But luckily he did,, in the last minute.. lol

Some funny and interesting parts :--

1) Kimura-kun asked the other 3 members to go to the studio they belong to,, Tsuyoshi and Shingo go together,, but Shingo keep talking himself there,, then Kimura-kun scolded him,, gHayakuh.. Tsuyoshi,, haha,, I almost die laughing there,, when he arrived at his studio,, he just run without looking in front,, his head is turning backward,, Kimura-kun is so afraid that he might touch the blocks and keep screaming at him,, but,, HE JUST REMAIN BLUR.. lol,,, I also wanna knock Tsufs head.. Sweat Gorofs near,, just beside Kimurafs,, so he just walk there..

2) Each of the members have one block to place it in a blank place in the block in the studio they stay.. Itz NOT allow to touch the others to let them fall,, so minna must be very careful,, First is Kimura-kun,, ha,, of coz he success.. Then Goro-chan,, lol he is so excited,, the lady host beside him too,, so,, they fail,, the lady host touch the blocks and some of them fall.. lol,, Goro keep saying ggomen nasaih.. Hefs so kawaiic Followed by Tsuyoshi,, he had to put on Nakai-kunfs block as well,, ha,, he success also,, Shingofs is the biggest,, the lady host help him with that..

Start,, the staff pull the cloth so hard that makes parts of the puzzle fell..

Mabo

P-Chan

InaGorou

Musashi

Kattoman

LOL,,, Kimura-kun asked Shingo not to drink that water first,, but he did also..

Nakai Isoge.. Faster come back Nakai

But he's still there enjoying... Shake Head

Fuji Mountain,, kirei na~~

*Beginning part,, when Nakai-kun is on the way back from Kouhaku,, whoa~~ the two tops are alwayz communicate with each others.. Ha~~ Kimura-kun miss Nakai so much ne~~

There's a BIG traffic jam on the way back to Fuji TV,, so Nakai-kun had to go back by motorcycle.. Haha,, one of the men sayz to the driver.. The stock is Nakai-kun, so u must be careful..

And when Nakai-kun is back to Fuji studio,, the time when SMAP sang Yozora no Mukou,, when Shingo saw Nakai-kun walking towards them,, he yell "Leader, hayaku" and give him the microphone.. I'm so touch...

Really must thank the staff so much ne,, arranging the blocks,, and makes into a beautiful puzzle... Applaud

@ Levy - yes that actress was Haru's mother in Pride. She was also in the jdorama taiga of Tackey- Yoshitsune. She is really kirei ne?

@Simone- thank you I will also buy lotto tickets so I can join smappies at Tokyo Dome for the concert . Keeping my fingers crossed for this. BTW, got confirmation that it was Shizuka I saw on NHK last week . She is really pretty and looks like a happily married woman. I'm not cutting my hair now because Shizuka has nice long hair. Seems Takuya likes long hair on women ne? Hahaha but she is so slim and I'm not.Oh well...

@ Elaine- thank you for the photos posted and the details of the show i like reading vignettes about the SMAP members here which one can't find in any other site.
