I like certain anime films that can only be conveyed through that medium to address the very spirit of its tale; i.e., Blood: The Last Vampire and Millenium Actress are two great examples. The respective anime creators do extremely well in utilizing the category to the hilt in their expression. In other words, such stories cannot be told as powerfully if they were turned into live action, or even if they were novelized, or through any other medium for that matter.
As many times as I've seen Akira on HBO (and, if I'm not mistaken, was shown in a subtitled version and a voice-over rendition), though, I don't know what the heck's going on in that story. Neat-o 'cycles, though.

I watch anime's quite alot.
The first anime that I've ever watched was "Ninja Scroll" and that was what got me hooked to anime.
Then i saw Blood Reign, Demon City:Shinjuku, and the Bubble Gum Crisis Tokyo 2040 series.
Then I just wanted more..........................
So I guess I really like anime.
But I really want to watch a DORAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ YuTaKA TaKEnOUchI RuLEz!

I used to watch Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z a lot. I don't own any eps anymore as I've cancelled them out, but I have almost all of the manga. I wanted to see if I could collect them all, but unfortunately the store I used to buy them from closed down and turned into a fish market some time ago. If anyone doesn't want what they have, please PM me and from there, I'll tell you what books I'm missing. Thanks.
Oh, and if you desire some form of payment , let me know in what form (hoping I can get all types of currency ) and how much. I should be able to meet you according to your standards. As long as it's reasonable.

The Cat returns is a Ghibli film and came out as part of the Ghibli collection last Summer in a 2 disc DVD set. It was the last Ghibli film made, before Howels moving Castle. _________________

as milk-chan mentioned, retur of the cat is quite recent. Full Metal alchemist is pretty good, a nice mixture of comedy, drama, special powers.
Anyway, just started watching Kaleidostar for change. _________________
